The Room 2 is the best type of sequel: same stuff as in original but improved in every aspect. The best part is that levels are now actual rooms rather than just one table. That allows more variety in puzzles and much better atmosphere as well.

    Room Two, The | 2016 | PC | Played for: 6h

Escape Room at it's finest. If you enjoy puzzle solving that involves attention to detail and trying to click on everything, this game is that. Graphically and design wise it is really well polished. It engaged my wife (she is not a gamer) to play it and now we are looking to go through all the series (VR included). Story: 8,5/10

Contrary to what others experienced, I personally felt that this sequel was a massive step up from the first, as the puzzles felt more varied and the dynamic of adding multiple locations (in an actual room this time) improved depth and necessitated deeper thought.

I really appreciated the added horror aesthetic to this game, and I actually did rely on the hints a bit more than before,

I really appreciated the added horror aesthetic to this game, and I actually did rely on the hints a bit more than before, which naturally indicates an increased difficulty.

Overall, the look and feel of this sequel was much more pleasing than its predecessor, and I highly enjoyed playing it.

With improved exploration mechanics, richly detailed locations and intriguing puzzle design The Room Two surpasses its predecessor in every way. Storytelling is still a weak spot though.
