The Room 2 is the best type of sequel: same stuff as in original but improved in every aspect. The best part is that levels are now actual rooms rather than just one table. That allows more variety in puzzles and much better atmosphere as well.

Probably the worst of the three since it seemed lazy. The original was comfier and more tidy, and the third was a bit over the top.

    Room Two, The | 2016 | PC | Played for: 6h

Escape Room at it's finest. If you enjoy puzzle solving that involves attention to detail and trying to click on everything, this game is that. Graphically and design wise it is really well polished. It engaged my wife (she is not a gamer) to play it and now we are looking to go through all the series (VR included). Story: 8,5/10

A cool puzzle game with beautiful graphics and a good story (which I've already forgotten).
Unlike the first game, sometimes I'd to look for a switch or button for a long time that I inadvertently missed.

The Room Two, like its predecessor, is a proper puzzler where you solve riddles in one room, then get on to the next.
The puzzles aren't mind-boggling, what keeps you from progressing is usually that you can't find something.

The price is also ok (5€)

First of all, I have to say I really like this game. However, I think it´s easier than the first part (even if I need one hour more to finish it). The puzzles are much easier than the previous The Room. Maybe because I was used to the first part puzzles. Anyway, I recommend this videogame because it´s really good, and at least I have to use my brain to finish it. The puzzles are still awesome.

Contrary to what others experienced, I personally felt that this sequel was a massive step up from the first, as the puzzles felt more varied and the dynamic of adding multiple locations (in an actual room this time) improved depth and necessitated deeper thought.

I really appreciated the added horror aesthetic to this game, and I actually did rely on the hints a bit more than before,

I really appreciated the added horror aesthetic to this game, and I actually did rely on the hints a bit more than before, which naturally indicates an increased difficulty.

Overall, the look and feel of this sequel was much more pleasing than its predecessor, and I highly enjoyed playing it.

This still had challenging puzzles but I didn't like little mechanical changes in the game play that made it seem clunky. It seems like the developers focused on building a story, rather than challenging puzzles.

Very similar to the first one with a bit more atmosphere. The puzzles do seem easier this time as well.

A rather unsatisfying sequel. Some of the puzzles are still alright and everything is still beautifully designed, but this game has several objects/elements per level, so a good part of the playtime is now spent waiting for camera transitions to end and trying to find things. Also, because the interactable objects are often not highlighted in any way and are just some of the many objectsA rather unsatisfying sequel. Also, because the interactable objects are often not highlighted in any way and are just some of the many objects that could be interactable, several times I ended up clicking randomly all around the screen just to find the thing that indeed is interactable. Definitely not as intuitive as the original, and the game as a whole didn't feel as inspired. Expand

The worst of the 3 games. This is similar to the first game as it's not so much thinking involved, it's more about finding small hidden details. The third game is better in this aspect.

I'd recommend getting these game on your ipad and play them during a long fight or something instead of playing them on your PC.

With improved exploration mechanics, richly detailed locations and intriguing puzzle design The Room Two surpasses its predecessor in every way. Storytelling is still a weak spot though.

This isn’t one to be missed if you in the market for a challenging puzzler.
