    То что доведётся увидеть каждому геймеру, который включит этот кусок программного кода, даже испытанием на прочность не назвать. Я считаю, что любой эксперимент - это всегда хорошо в игровой стезе, вот только есть ли смысл говорить об этом именно тут? Если разработчики "The Quiet Man" решили продолжить эстафету начатую "Quantum Break" и "Hellblade: Senua    Тихий ужас! (The Quiet Man)

    То что доведётся увидеть каждому геймеру, который включит этот кусок программного кода, даже испытанием на прочность не назвать. Я считаю, что любой эксперимент - это всегда хорошо в игровой стезе, вот только есть ли смысл говорить об этом именно тут? Если разработчики "The Quiet Man" решили продолжить эстафету начатую "Quantum Break" и "Hellblade: Senua Sacrifice" и цель их была завалить все нормативы, то с задачей они справились на ура! На концептуальном уровне, передать ощущение глухоты главного героя - интересная задумка, а придать всему этому киношного лоска на манеру последнего проекта Remedy - схема проверенная. На бумаге и словах звучало и выглядело правдоподобно, вопрос стоял остро только с реализацией геймплея. И знаете в чём вся проблема? Он оказался никакой да такой степени, что мобильная боевая система Injustice2 при сравнении - лучшее, что предлагала индустрия на сегодняшний день. А терпеть ТАКОЕ ради артхауса и идейности, в надежде на второе полноценное прохождение? Извините...    … Expand

    This game is so bad in so many aspects that it makes me wonder if the entire thing is a practical joke.

    The controls; bad. The character animations; bad. The character modeling; passable, except no one has any facial animations so BAD! FMV; Bad Fight mechanics; HORRIBLE! They cast the same actress to play his mom AND his love intrest, (one actress, two roles, thats right...) so    This game is so bad in so many aspects that it makes me wonder if the entire thing is a practical joke.

    The controls; bad.

    Fight mechanics; HORRIBLE!

    They cast the same actress to play his mom AND his love intrest, (one actress, two roles, thats right...) so everybody is understandably freaked out/confused by this.

    The entire idea of the game being silent because the protagonist is deaf is understandable, but he obviously can read lips and sign so the explanation for not implementing subtitles so we can understand as much as the character we are playing as makes NO SENSE!    … Expand

    Well, it was interesting of Square to release a spiritual successor to Bouncer. Unfourtently this game is somehow even worse. There are about maybe 20 minutes of actual gameplay at best here, which is just mashing buttons nothing more. The "Cutscenes" are just a bunch of people talking; with no audio or subtitles so we have no idea what's going on. You wanna play this game?     El videojuego es uno de los peores del año 2018 y tal vez uno de los peores de la historia. Hay bugs, incoherencias en la trama, clichés de los latinos, el protagonista parece un maniquí con un repertorio limitado de acciones. Sin embargo, la equivocación más grande del juego es que no hay sonido para tratar de hacerlo inmersivo.     The video game is one of the worst in 2018 and perhaps one of the worst in history. There are bugs, inconsistencies in the plot, clichés of Latinos, the protagonist looks like a mannequin with a limited repertoire of actions. However, the biggest mistake of the game is that there is no sound to try to make it immersive. A failed copy of Hellblade, in this game the protagonist suffers a mental illness, but in The quiet man we have to put ourselves in the perspective of a deaf man that only he understands what happens.     This is the worst joke of the century so far, 'nuff said. Seriously don't play this walking simulator with broken controls and 50% of it being **** cutscenes, even Super Mario Odyssey, The Graveyard and several other walking simulators are far better than that piece of filth.

    Another one of those game's that feel more like watching a bad movie when you sometimes have the option to make a choice to affect the story.Incredibly boring do not watch this

    Из-за отзывов надеялся на меньшее, после трейлеров и пару роликов всё таки решился купить - не пожалел
    Единственное что немного смущает в боёвке, это резкость, а в остольном красыво

    This game is a truly amazingly bad game. The combat is simple and the animations are janky and ridiculous. The decision to remove the sound leaves you feeling like a real deaf person. Unable to understand what people say to you, sign language at you, or even what you yourself sign to others. I can only surmise that they realized they made an awful game and decided they may    tfw no momgf

The story is like a strange dream a toddler had and they repeatedly show parts of a flashback despite the entire sequence being obvious from the very first time you see it.    … Expand

    Фигня, я бы понял если эту игру делали школьники, но тут вроде взрослые дяди а в голове пусто.
    Сделали из ГГ супер героя, но по сути любой кто подойдёт со спины может легко его вырубить. Ощущение что ГГ просто притворяется так как в бою ведёт себя увереннее спецназовца. Я бы сказал что выглядит это насмешкой над глухотой.    Фигня, я бы понял если эту игру делали школьники, но тут вроде взрослые дяди а в голове пусто.

    The Quiet Man is an insult to the video game.

    *STORY: A young, deaf boy named Dane interrupts a fight between his friend and a bully, which results in Dane's mother being shot.
    Traumatized by these events, he composes a character in his drawings called "The Quiet Man", who looks like a plague doctor.

    Simply a nonsense. Painful performances and a horrific screenplay combine to create this narrative swill.

    *GAMEPLAY*: Personally I'm not a big fan of the beat 'em up genre, but I do value sagas like Yakuza.
    In contrast, The Quiet Man features the worst beat 'em up system I've ever seen. Unconnected animations, boring, repetitive, impossible movements...

    *GRAPHICS*: Graphically there are well-modelled elements, but most of them are pitiful.

    *SOUND: Where's the sound? Let me see it!

    *INNOVATION: The Quiet Man tries to bring the novelty of implementing deafness into a video game, but he does it so badly that I doubt it will go down in history as anything innovative.    … Expand

    THE QUIET MAN - это кривой однокнопочный файтинг с более-менее хорошим сюжетом и красивой графикой. У игры очень интересная задумка, но паскудная реализация. Так и не понял, зачем было делать первое прохождение без звука, для растягивания хронометража или же для якобы ''неожиданно'' сюжетного поворота...

    Не хочу рекомендовать игру к покупке, но всё же не спешите её ругать, попробуйте    THE QUIET MAN - это кривой однокнопочный файтинг с более-менее хорошим сюжетом и красивой графикой.     Собственно вроде и ничего так, если скачать сейв на открытие голоса, но боевка, это просто нечто, хоть и нравится жанр, но пройти до конца не смог, сюжет не выделяется, постоянный переход на бои с гангстерами должны были внести некую изюминку в игру, но на выходе - кошмар. Гангстеры все на одно лицо, олежду, скин, и так далее, спустя час игры уже просто устаешь от однообразности движений иСобственно вроде и ничего так, если скачать сейв на открытие голоса, но боевка, это просто нечто, хоть и нравится жанр, но пройти до конца не смог, сюжет не выделяется, постоянный переход на бои с гангстерами должны были внести некую изюминку в игру, но на выходе - кошмар. Гангстеры все на одно лицо, олежду, скин, и так далее, спустя час игры уже просто устаешь от однообразности движений и драк, руки, ноги, головы, все что только можно застревает в текстурах и смотрится ужасно, вообщем играть не рекомендую, 4/10 и то чисто из-за жанра кино.… Expand

    игра не для всех. если смотрите на физику то лучше не играйте. фильм и история крутая. хотя порекомендую всем поиграть

    As a stylistic experiment The Quiet Man is quite courageous, as a game in terms of execution an absolute flop.

    The Quiet Man is nothing short of a shoddy, broken, incomplete, tonally-deaf chore of a few hours. Even some of the worst releases this year alone could, arguably, be deemed more ambitious and more focal to their aims (regardless of the end product/direction), but The Quiet Man doesn’t even rustle up the effort to at least try and explore its prime concept of a deaf protagonist. Worse, it doesn’t respect the players’ very presence and instead strips most of its reasoning and room for exposition away, leaving us with some of the most indulgent and confusing storytelling you’re likely to bear witness to.
