Oct 29, 2019It has been a long long time since I've spent $60 on a game and felt good about it. This is one of those games. I'm having a blast and loving every minute of it! Thank you Obsidian!

Oct 25, 2019A game that fills a void left by games like Fallout and Mass Effect, when they decided to try and get subscription money instead of making great RPGs.
-
Oct 25, 2019GOTY, best rpg since Witcher 3, New vegas and Divinity Original Sin 2.
Simply amazing!
- Wonderful writing
- Great stoundtrack
- amazing game world
- Its a blast to play
- Great roleplaying and builds
This is is how you do a roleplaying game, 6 hours in and I am BLOWN AWAY! This is Obsidians masterpiece! -
Oct 25, 2019The spiritual rebirth of Fallout, right here, in the right hands. Obsidians hands.

Oct 29, 2019I absolutely love this game. Feeds a real RPG itch for me. The weaknesses you can acquire is a nice concept & I love the mix of Bioware companions & companion quests, with fallout style gameplay. A depth in character stats is something I have been missing in AAA RPGs since Fallout 3/New Vegas.

Oct 26, 2019the Fallout we've been waiting for, if you're a long time fan of the series and were let down by 76, pick this game up. Feels exactly like the oldschool fallout but fresh with a space vibe. Obsidian killed it, kudos.

Nov 1, 2019This is another masterpiece from Obsidians. A great, well thought out setting and characters whose belief systems are shaped by their surroundings.

Oct 25, 2019This game is what Fallout 4 should've been. Props to Obsidian for making the best RPG in years!
-
Oct 25, 2019If you ike Fallout 3 and New Vegas, you will love this one. This is the game I was waiting for and the kind of game Bethesda still owes us after Fallout 76. I really hope Obsidian continues the series in the future.

Nov 10, 2019- Fallout 3/NV type of game
- Good (not bad) story
- Good (not bad) jokes
- I found some critical bugs, but i forgive it since there is no any good games (* of this type) on the market for today.
- Also this game could be longer
P.S. I wish Obsidian to not stop make good games and I wish that his future games will be better. -
Oct 30, 2019I have around 10 hours in the game, it's perfect for me. A perfect blend of an updated Fallout: New Vegas and Mass Effect, with the art style akin to Bioshock.
-
Oct 28, 2019I would pay to have this voice actors read everything in the universe, the game makes a lot of things well, but the voice acting makes it art.

Nov 3, 2019"It's not the best choice. It's Spacer's choice!"
This game is everything you expect from Fallout in space. And it's also insanely beautiful! -

Nov 3, 2019A masterpiece of its genre. If you like plot and party (NPC) based games (Dragon Age, Mass Effect, etc) then you'll like this one. A few crashes and bugs, but overall, a great experience that you can play a bunch of different ways.

Oct 26, 2019I am absolutely loving this game. Reminds me of fallout mixed with bioshock and elder scrolls. If you liked those games then the outer worlds is going to be right up your alley. The writing is also good with conversations feeling fleshed out. I've only played 6 hours so far but I haven't been able to put it down.

Oct 26, 2019Let me just say that this is one of the best games I ever played. It's like fall out new vegas and borderlands 2 had a baby. I would recommend ^_^

Oct 25, 2019Playing for 1 hour now and.... what a great start! The game is Fallout that I am been waiting for since FNV. And I already see that I will be playing with few different characters as it seems the reputability is amazing! Well done Obsidian!

Nov 3, 2019In my opinion Obsidian Entertainment is best CRPG developer presently. This game is ideological successor of Fallout New Vegas.

Nov 16, 2020The problem with this isn't that it is a bad game (far from it), but the fact that it failed to reach its true potential… or maybe the expectations were simply too high, because there's nothing here that anyone can point to and say that it is terrible. Sadly, there's almost nothing that's great either, apart from the role-playing element and the quality of writing. The gunplay? Ok. The exploration? Decent. The plot? Fine. The dominant feeling here is of a game that is good enough so that you won't hate it, but also not as good for it to be the flawless classic that it could definitely be - but again, that's probably those darn high expectations speaking, because flaws or no flaws, The Outer Worlds shouldn't be missing from any RPG collection.
-
Dec 9, 2019An excellent effort from Obsidian, and though The Outer Worlds doesn’t surpass its predecessors by offering a world worth visiting over and over, the adventure it presents is more than worth the time spent.

Game World Navigator MagazineDec 6, 2019Usually, a planet has just one or two settlements and a bit of wildlands to explore. But that’s for the best – instead of exploring miles of filler content, Outer Worlds keeps you moving from planet to planet, from one tense situation to another. [Issue#241, p.34]
