Aug 23, 2023Pirated this, played it for two hours and deleted it.
The worst dialogue I've seen since Mass Effect Andromeda. No idea how it has so many positive reviews. -
Jun 15, 2023Pas de doublage français. ça casse l'immersion. C'est décevant ! surtout à ce prix

Nov 3, 2022Very ugly game. The mission structures and sense of freedom are quality and drew me in for a while, but the world and characters are ugly in every sense, in an obviously intentional anti-aesthetic design choice. This game wasn't designed to be gratifying to normal players; that much is clear.

Apr 25, 2022The opening sequence is awesome... Then it's downhill, from there.
It feels like a bad Fallout 4 DLC. After playing this boring-ass game, I have ZERO hope for Obsidian's future. -

May 28, 2021Exploration: 2/10, the world(s) feel not only empty, but also rushed and not funny to visit.
Gameplay: 2/10, nothing new, nothing funny, nothing compelling.
Rpg/dialogues: 2/10, it does not even feel like an rpg.
Storyline: 2/10, it is just meh -

Jan 12, 2021Tried it briefly, had all the signs of a bad game. In the first few minutes I was bombarded with pop up menus. It's felt like the game was going to be pretty cumbersome. Immediately it was clear that nothing at all about this game stands out. I don't think it's a total fail, but it clearly didn't get the basics pinned down well enough to be good.

Jan 11, 2021This game is the definition of "Meh".
Obsidian were asleep at the wheel with this one. -

Dec 25, 2020No, come si fa anche solo a pensare di continuare dopo le prime 2 missioni, un pezzo di legno mascello sarebbe piu' flessibile e fluido, per no parlare del sarcasmo da 2 soldi.

Oct 30, 2020I've tried playing this game 3 time, and every time I loss my save data, and online fixes don't help, plus campions spill their life story in every conversation, its just weird and unnatural.

Oct 29, 2020Buggy garbage. I played the first 4 hours without realizing there was a bug that made the saves fail silently. Lost all my progress. The game had already been out for a year and they hadn't bothered patching this game-breaking bug!
I've been a gamer for over 30 years and have over 1000 games. I've never been so disappointed by such trash.
2* because the start was fun. -
Oct 29, 2020RPG must have an interesting plot, characters, variability and desirable an interesting gameplay - The Outer Worlds not about that. Plus lags.
If The Outer Worlds 2 will be, so Obsidian a lot of work to make from The Outer Worlds - a true rpg.
Many gamers want alternative for Mass Effect, but not this time.
1/10 for trying make space rpg. -

Nov 16, 2020The problem with this isn't that it is a bad game (far from it), but the fact that it failed to reach its true potential… or maybe the expectations were simply too high, because there's nothing here that anyone can point to and say that it is terrible. Sadly, there's almost nothing that's great either, apart from the role-playing element and the quality of writing. The gunplay? Ok. The exploration? Decent. The plot? Fine. The dominant feeling here is of a game that is good enough so that you won't hate it, but also not as good for it to be the flawless classic that it could definitely be - but again, that's probably those darn high expectations speaking, because flaws or no flaws, The Outer Worlds shouldn't be missing from any RPG collection.

Dec 9, 2019An excellent effort from Obsidian, and though The Outer Worlds doesn’t surpass its predecessors by offering a world worth visiting over and over, the adventure it presents is more than worth the time spent.

Game World Navigator MagazineDec 6, 2019Usually, a planet has just one or two settlements and a bit of wildlands to explore. But that’s for the best – instead of exploring miles of filler content, Outer Worlds keeps you moving from planet to planet, from one tense situation to another. [Issue#241, p.34]
