The controls are easy but the static camera angle will cause a problem moving around in the game.
-
A good story wrapped in not-so-good gameplay. Nothing here is terrible, though, and I felt compelled to play through just to see where the story was going.
-
I wouldn’t really recommend it, unless slow-paced, frustrating adventures are your cup of tea. Or unless you really want to play a conspiracy adventure, and your only other choice is "Legacy: Dark Shadows."
-
AceGamezThe excellent story and the way it is stylishly directed and presented, proves that there is still life left in this ancient genre.
-
With such a memorable plot and some passable, yet unspectacular, gameplay, it’s a shame that the bugs are holding it down.
-
Unfortunately, the mechanics are awkward and progress too tedious for anyone not already partly conditioned to the adventure genre's trappings.
-
Bottom line: if you like adventure games, this one is okay—but you won’t be doing yourself any disservice by GameFAQing your way through it.
-
Long on conversation and short on mental challenge.
-
With a little more thought put into the interface, Moment of Silence could have been a graphic adventure classic, but as it stands now, it's a really good story, cleverly locked away inside a series of rooms that need to be clicked through.
-
There is a certain superficiality to The Moment of Silence that prevents you from getting totally immersed in the story.
-
TMOS has an impressively complex storyline, backed up by superbly detailed background graphics.
-
A very strong, engaging story set in an interesting world. It's what will keep you playing despite the problems.
-
The title’s reliance on the same ol’, same ol’ mission types, however, hurts this score.
-
Takes so long getting to the meat of the story that all but the most die-hard of players will have gone elsewhere to eat long before then.
-
There are a few good moments here and there, but sadly, there's an unfinished aura to this game that permeates throughout. [PC Zone]
