May 22, 2021The game's themes are important and -- at times -- inspirational. Unfortunately, if you take the story out of the equation, this is probably the worst game I've ever finished. Controls, performance, QoL... it's like if someone gave the developer a $300 budget, three weeks, high school drama students for voice actors, and the Dreams engine, and asked them to design a Limbo clone.

Nov 26, 2018The Missing – J.J. MacField and the Island of Memories combined it's puzzle-platformer gameplay and narrative in a way that truly makes use of the medium and highlight's it's best potential. Difficult subject matter and a leaning toward the surreal drive a story that touches upon aspects of humanity that are rarely explored in games.
