    That is really a medium game. Nothing more than that.
    The game looks very good and the plot is kinda OK (although I didn't like the ending and what it means at all), but the gameplay itself... It was disappointing. Bloober Team itself made some comparisons to Silent Hill back in the day, and I ended up thinking this would be a survival horror game, instead of a walking simulator with    That is really a medium game. Nothing more than that.

    Wow, brutally immersive, wonderful graphics, storytelling, script, narrative, everything perfect. It's a 10/10 game.

    A história fica boa somente no final, e possui realmente um final de tirar o folego, mas não consigo recomendar um jogo de tantas horas para ter 1h de prazer no final, há opções melhores. O jogo é lento no inicio, cheio de clichês na história sobre almas atormentadas e vingativas, a jogabilidade é extremamente travada se não datata, extremamente linear, a sua gameplay provavelmente seráA história fica boa somente no final, e possui realmente um final de tirar o folego, mas não consigo recomendar um jogo de tantas horas para ter 1h de prazer no final, há opções melhores.     I'm honestly baffled at how horrifically bad the story was, lots of collision bugs and on top of all of that you have to deal with unbelievably clunky tank controls alla PSX style of survival horror games, performance was also honestly subpar for what essentially was a puzzle game.

    I'm a big fan of cinematographers like Roger Deakins (1917) and Emmanuel Lubezki (The Revenant) - they're Hollywood legends, so I have a lot of sympathy for projects where the camera is not just a part of a good composition, but also a part of a story.     Thanks to camera positioning and lighting, ordinary scenes are given soul and unique atmosphere, and the story becomes even more profound. Thanks to the camera, this game even managed to scare me a few times.

    Game Design doesn't have enough mechanics to give players new puzzles and patterns (Theory of fun, if you know what I mean) and mechanics feel poor and like a wood, but still interesting. Thank you, Bloober Team, for that journey. Waiting for your next game.    … Expand

    Um jogo muito bom, traz de volta o estilo dos games clássicos como Silent Hill e Resident Evil, ambientação de dar inveja para muitos games AAA, uma trilha sonora quase que impecável feita junto de Akira Yamaoka que da sentir todo seu estilo musical e sonoro no jogo. Não tive problemas jogando no PC, só gostaria de uma opção de selecionar os capítulos depois de terminar o game.     Sin duda, The Medium es un muy buen juego. La base de la jugabilidad es un poco walking simulator, donde ir paseando por los escenarios encontrando información y trama, y resolviendo puzzles sencillos. Ocasionalmente añade alguna cosa más pero son momentos puntuales. Por ello, el núcleo de la experiencia se centra en la historia que nos están contando. No es la historia más original jamásSin duda, The Medium es un muy buen juego. La base de la jugabilidad es un poco walking simulator, donde ir paseando por los escenarios encontrando información y trama, y resolviendo puzzles sencillos. Ocasionalmente añade alguna cosa más pero son momentos puntuales. Por ello, el núcleo de la experiencia se centra en la historia que nos están contando. No es la historia más original jamás contada, pero sin duda está excelentemente narrada que al final es lo que importa (a estas alturas, nadie va a reinventar la rueda). Los personajes están muy bien llevados, consigue rápido que conectes y empatices con ellos, que te impliques en lo que esté pasando y trates de ir entendiendo la historia a base de todas las piezas que vas recolectando a medida que avanzas. Esto crea una muy buena sensación de misterio sobrenatural y es que no es un juego de miedo o terror aunque lo pueda parecer, es un juego de horror. Puede parecer un survival horror clásico con sus cámaras fijas y esas cosas, pero esa impresión no dura mucho una vez el juego se pone en marcha.

    La puesta en escena está muy bien hecha, con un mundo real que es muy creíble y tiene multitud de detalles, compaginado con un mundo alternativo con un diseño mucho más bizarro y demente pero que funciona fantástico. Y funciona especialmente bien en los momentos en que ambos mundos interactuan, con sus puestas en escena tan distintas complementándose la una a la otra. El sonido es espectacular. Aunque no tiene demasiada música, funciona muy bien cuando está presente, y tanto los efectos de sonido como (especialmente) el doblaje son excelentes. Como pega, eso si, tiene algunos problemas de optimizado que hace que tire más de máquina de lo que debería, y cuando lo puse en DX12 (que mi ordenador mueve sin fallo) dio multitud de problemas, cuelgues y salidas a escritorio, y tuve que volver a ponerlo en DX11 para que fuese jugable.

    Por todo ello, sin duda, The Medium es un juego extremadamente recomendable. Un 8,5.    … Expand

    I have seen a sneak peak from a youtuber, he was playing the Xbox demo.I fall in love with the game, music was amazing, artstyle, sound. It make me remember silent hill from the past. I bought it and I was amaze by the gameplay and graphics. I am a FPS lover, but this game wow, took me out of my comfort zone. The caracters are endearing, story was good.

    UGHHHHHHHH. Such an overbearing, dreary piece of overwritten **** I can maybe count on one hand the number of games that frustrate me as much as this one. So much potential crushed into thousands upon thousands of sad "just die" musings in an oblivious, robotic game.

    Me ha gustado mucho el juego, lo tengo en el Game Pass y aunque es cierto que requiere optimización a fecha de hoy porque a veces se caen los fps, el juego está muy cuidado, la ambientación es fantástica, los gráficos se ven de miedo. Para mi es de 8, aunque el doy 9 por aquellos que le han puesto 0 sin haberlo olido siquiera, tónica habitual de esta página.

    The best game to date for the Polish studio. The game has sinister, always on the edge atmosphere with captivating story. The game main focus is on exploration and puzzles solving and there is no fighting and shooting like in Resident Evil games. I like the novel idea of split screens between spirit and reality worlds. The game reminds me of Dante's Inferno from 2010 in terms of itsThe best game to date for the Polish studio. The game has sinister, always on the edge atmosphere with captivating story.     Strepitoso, questo gioco riesce a catturarti in ogni modo, questa iniziativa di mettere la meccanica del doppio mondo è affascinante e penso sia riuscita benissimo.
    Audio, musica e tutto il resto le ho apprezzate moltissimo, enigmi non troppo difficili, ma se non ci pensi lo risolvi, tutti gli oggetti e cose extra sono molto belli, ma dove mi sono emozionato di più è nella fine con musica    Strepitoso, questo gioco riesce a catturarti in ogni modo, questa iniziativa di mettere la meccanica del doppio mondo è affascinante e penso sia riuscita benissimo.
    Audio, musica e tutto il resto le ho apprezzate moltissimo, enigmi non troppo difficili, ma se non ci pensi lo risolvi, tutti gli oggetti e cose extra sono molto belli, ma dove mi sono emozionato di più è nella fine con musica e cutscene finale maestosa.     Всегда считал, что игры вне политики! Не ожидал от игровой студии, которая должна ориентироваться на обычных игроков и то, чтобы дарить людям хорошие эмоции…что студия будет наказывать обычных людей за решения принятые правительством! Раз игровая студия решила вмешаться в политику, то и оценку она получит не за игру!Всегда считал, что игры вне политики! Не ожидал от игровой студии, которая должна ориентироваться на обычных игроков и то, чтобы дарить людям хорошие эмоции…что студия будет наказывать обычных людей за решения принятые правительством! Раз игровая студия решила вмешаться в политику, то и оценку она получит не за игру!

    Un juego que no destaca en nada y que, por contra, es demasiado corto. Su apuesta jugable es pobre y apenas tiene toques de terror como era su principal promesa.

    En la parte buena, unos buenos gráficos y una ambientación trabajada, al menos en lo que a coleccionables se refiere y que te sumerge casi en la trama que los largos vídeos supuestamente explicativos.

    Piękny świat.
    Z jednej strony klimatyczne wnętrza, piękne lasy i opuszczone miejsca z czasów PRLu, a z drugiej świat niczym wyjęty z obrazów Beksińskiego.
    Podział ekranu na 2 części czasem intryguje, a czasem utrudnia cieszenie się ich urokiem, tak jak i brak swobodnej kamery.
    Niestety, wszędzie jest bardzo ciasno - jak po sznurku prowadzi nas kamera i niewidzialne ściany.

    Fabuła najwyżej w porządku.
    Próbuje być ciekawa, ale nie do końca to wychodzi. Nie jest zbyt porywająca i nie potrafiłem wystarczająco poczuć więzi między postaciami.
    Obok zwrotów akcji przechodziłem obojętnie, a zakończenie było nieciekawe i niesatysfakcjonujące.

    Fatalna rozgrywka.
    Uciążliwa i działa zdecydowanie na niekorzyść gry. Już wolałby, żeby jej w ogóle nie było.
    Polega chodzeniu bardzo powolnym krokiem, obijając się o ściany lub kadr kamery. Przedmiotów do podniesienia na tyle mało, że nie ma wątpliwości czego i na czym użyć.

    Format tak ubogiej przygotówki był nietrafiony. Znacznie lepiej sprawdziłoby się to w widoku z pierwszej osoby, nie mówiąc już o VR.
    Lepsza byłaby jakaś inna forma interaktywnego filmu.

    Upierdliwe sceny uciekania - po cutscence kamera często odwraca się o 180 stopni, więc chociaż raz automatycznie giniemy wchodząc w to, co nas goni.

    Dzielenie ekranu na 2 światy nie było dobrym pomysłem. Znacznie fajniejsze byłoby zastępowanie jednego drugim, lub (najlepiej płynne i efektowne) nakładaniem się na siebie.    … Expand

    The Medium is a psychological thriller with various simple puzzles, a whiff of horror and music like from Silent Hill. As a result, you will play the game mainly because of the storytelling and for its atmosphere. [Issue#310]

    The Medium deftly ties all loose story ends and shows impressive art direction, but it lacks wholeness. The game feels like an artist who has too many ideas at the same time; he would grab a brush, then a pen or a piece of coal… but still cannot finish his masterpiece.

    The Medium isn't an unflawed masterpiece. It's got some performance issues on PC and some jankeyness in unexpected places. However it has got this absolutely unique horror atmosphere, beautifully crafted worlds and some absolute heart-string pulling story moments. This is a successful return of the "horror adventure" game style from those golden oldies everyone fondly remembers. Bloober Team has done an outstanding job making this title and it's one hundred percent recommended to all fans of horror.
