    A wonderful love letter to games like Silent Hill, with much of the fat trimmed away for better or worse. It's very linear, the puzzles are simple, and there is very little combat or danger. That said, the game builds a fantastic atmosphere, with a unique story and some of the best sound design we've had in years, as well as representing what I hope is part of a true revival of the "fixedA wonderful love letter to games like Silent Hill, with much of the fat trimmed away for better or worse. It's very linear, the puzzles are simple, and there is very little combat or danger. That said, the game builds a fantastic atmosphere, with a unique story and some of the best sound design we've had in years, as well as representing what I hope is part of a true revival of the "fixed camera angle" horror game. If you're expecting a polished AAA experience then keep looking, this is the studio's first project on this scale, but The Medium is a wonderfully modern throwback to the golden era of video game horror, as well as a path forward. If they get a sequel, I think that's going to be the one that launches this studio into superstardom.… Expand

    A slow burn but perfectly placed for what it is. It's a testament to the game design that I'm halfway through the game and I haven't gotten stuck once. The gameplay loop teaches and rewards intuitive thinking. Mind you, I don't really play puzzle or investigation based games.

    The story and imagery are highlight and are both fantastic. Unless things go terribly wrong, I don't see myself    A slow burn but perfectly placed for what it is.     Great atmosphere, artstyle, sounds and music. This looks like a jumpscary horror game but turns out to be much more, the story comes together in the end perfectly. Pacing is great, length great. Looking forward to what developer cooks up next

    I loved The Medium from start to end. 10/10

    It has supreme graphics, an amazing story and brings me the nostalgia to the classic survival horror games with its fixed cameras, puzzles and notes. It also tries something new and unique with the two realities. I found it to be exactly as long as it has to be. Every chapter is unique and the pacing is great.     Great effort by Bloober Team. Hits all the right notes for me. If you like games that have great story and atmosphere then look no further as this game has both.

    Magnífico juego!
    Hacia mucho tiempo que no me encontraba con un título con este corte noventero pero de gráficos actuales. Magnífica banda sonora, historia que te atrapa, puzzles brillantes y sustos y misterio. Muy recomendado.

    One of the best games I've played in a long time. The story and atmosphere were wonderful and the voice acting was top notch. Performance left a lot to be desired though. I really hope they continue the story.

Siento injusta la comparación con Silent hills pero es que es directa es normal que no se pueda comparar estéticamente. Han conseguido captar los inicios de esa saga que tantos fans tiene ahora. Grafica spettacolare (soprattutto le ambientazioni), gameplay assolutamente unico e innovativo, storia complicata e per nulla scontata che ti tiene attaccato fino all'ultimo secondo allo schermo, colonna sonora impareggiabile (me la sono procurata immediatamente dopo averloInutile girarci troppo intorno, The Medium è un capolavoro.     The first horror game since Resident Evil I on PSX that drew me in. Dense atmosphere, great music, brilliant story. All this in a graphical setting that almost choked my computer with the quality of execution. In my opinion it is a candidate for game of the year in horror category. Personally, I am waiting for the continuation.

    Os gráficos são lindíssimos e a concepção de arte tambem, porém peca nas animações faciais e na resolução.

    The médium es un juego que cumple lo que promete, gran banda sonora, un ambiente sobresaliente y no busca el terro o el susto fácil, para mi un juego muy bueno que hace recordar esos clásicos de terror de ps1, el apartado que mejoraría, pero que la verdad no arruina la experiencia sería la animación de la protagonista al caminar.

    Very intense, very grim, The story is well developed, the surrounding is just magnificent. Very often you see nice enough horrors, that turns a bit candy at the some point. no such thing in here! From the very beginning until the heartbreaking end- not a drop of hope in the story. If you enjoyed Hellblade this will be your new obsessive-compulsive experience.

    I loved this game. I've just finished it and all I keep thinking is "that was so f****** good". Every scene was stunning to look at, the music was great, the voice acting was great. Troy Bakers voice lines were definitely the best, I've never wanted to befriend a soul-sucking demon who wants to wear my skin so badly. Truly great game, loved every second of it.     It was nice adventure of Bloober! I have Layers of Fera 1 and 2 and Observer too. Medium is the best game of this developper. Just ..... too short!

    uwielbiam klimat tej gry, jej historię, postaci, muzykę, to nie banalna gra, ma nowe rozwiązania i łączy je z starymi klasycznymi, całość gry jest świetna a zakończenie gry super emocjonalne. chętnie poczekam na DLC i The Medium 2 lub na nową grę od Bloober Team.

    I really enjoyed the game, it’s was really fun with good graphics.
    This is the beginning of a new type of horror game.
    I hope they will continue to work on this kind of project and stay different from the others as Resident evil etc.. I really recommend it. If only the game was a bit more longer. But anyway it was fine.

    Es un juego maravilloso, muchos lo comparaban con Silent Hill pero no es necesario el juego es buenisimo por merito propio, un gran exclusivo del ecosistema Xbox, una gran historia y una protagonista Marianne muy divertida con mucha personalidad, sin duda mi nueva Heroina favorita, espero y exijo mas de este nuevo y fascinante universo, Me declaro super fan de esta nueva franquicia

    Bloomer Team create a nice game again. Detail story and worked world, amazing soundtrack (Akira Yamaoka is good as always) and good example of horror-game (finally we get horror without screamers but with nice a tense atmosphere)
    Sure, game have some problem with productivity, optimization and IMO quests (is very easy). But c'mon, games such this as very little!

    Amazing game, loved the story telling, ost is brilliant! Peolple should skip reviews and try this at gamepass, worth play.

    It's a great game with interesting gameplay and music that'll set you in the mood. The game has a nice story that'll get you eager to get to the climax quickly.

    Until you experience this game, you may not like the game and do not communicate with it. But if you play even 10 minutes of the game, you will fall in love with it.

    The Medium is a psychological thriller with various simple puzzles, a whiff of horror and music like from Silent Hill. As a result, you will play the game mainly because of the storytelling and for its atmosphere. [Issue#310]

    The Medium deftly ties all loose story ends and shows impressive art direction, but it lacks wholeness. The game feels like an artist who has too many ideas at the same time; he would grab a brush, then a pen or a piece of coal… but still cannot finish his masterpiece.

    The Medium isn't an unflawed masterpiece. It's got some performance issues on PC and some jankeyness in unexpected places. However it has got this absolutely unique horror atmosphere, beautifully crafted worlds and some absolute heart-string pulling story moments. This is a successful return of the "horror adventure" game style from those golden oldies everyone fondly remembers. Bloober Team has done an outstanding job making this title and it's one hundred percent recommended to all fans of horror.
