    This game really benefits if you opt to just use the keyboard to type questions rather than selecting from the dropdown. You can not get all the replies using just the dropdown menu, and it feels way more immersive if you actually free-type your questions. For £6.99 I think it is great value for money.

    6 main suspects, lots and lots of HD videos, cool storyline and one random murderer in every gameplay. It's a good FMV game, I can advise it. 8hrs on record.

    The game gives you the chance to understand characters on a deep level. Every time you start a game, a murderer is randomly chosen, which spices things up. Besides finding the murderer, other patients will have a different ending regarding the questions you ask them and your answers. So, it is possible to play this game more than once and find other options and endings.

    You are a little more actively participating in the game since you need to type questions yourself. You play the role of a psychiatrist and detective at the same time, which I really like. Patients sometimes contradict themselves, sometimes tell a spooky story or just share a personal memory. The game is fun to explore. If you like FMV and want to be more active in the game, I think you can give this game a try.    … Expand

    The Infectious Madness of Doctor Dekker is engrossing, disturbing and erudite, and though it’s a little lacking in plot it’s full of welcome ideas.

    The Infectious Madness of Doctor Dekker is a fantastically compelling, suspenseful slow burn that shows just what can be done with a medium that, for years, has been misused and misunderstood. Look past its clunky parser and you’ll be in for one hell of a head trip.

    The Infectious Madness of Doctor Dekker is an extremely polished text adventure that you absolutely must experience. Its characters can invoke a deep curiosity that only tunnelling down that rabbit hole will ever satisfy, and the multiple endings and randomly selected elements help flesh a game in a genre that’s usually a “one and done” affair.
