Deciding whether to keep the space bar pressed or release it has never been so much fun.

The Impossible Game is still as fun as it used to be, and most of that is due to some solid, infuriating platforming.

For $5, players can get a little memorization romp with some good music and a level editor for a game with a simple concept and controls.

Messing up might make one shout obscenities, but it’s still fun to try and conquer each stage. Unfortunately, it’s starting to show its age with rather uninspired visuals and a lack of in-game user created stage sharing.

The Impossible Game is a good way to burn 10 to 15 minutes at a time. All in all I can’t complain much about it. It was what I expected it to be and was a good bit of fun to boot.

It is almost impossible to recommend this edition of The Impossible Game. And this comes from judging the fivefold increase of its price, which is not justified either by the newly added -albeit overly simple- editor nor by the complete absence of new levels.

An ugly, banal experience, The Impossible Game is pretty much a forgettable game; a cash-in of the recent mini-game mania that excels at nothing.

This game is easier said than done, though the first 3 levels are simple. It took me a while to beat these levels. If it wasn't for GD, I never would have played this game, but it's getting boring after a while, you gotta admit. Full Review »

But radical problems include levels that are a little de-synced, lower jumping height except in Phazd and almost impossible-to-read blocks on Heaven (literally, you must memorize them to get past them). The level editor is a little too limited, because it doesn't let you put the thing upside down, it only has 6 background colors to put in the custom levels (compared to the approximately 16.777.216 in GD) and it doesn't let you play-test within the editor, again unlike GD.
And ironically it's more expensive than GD. Say what?
