The Bunker is an incredible thriller, well recorded and with a soundtrack that lives up to the expectations. It features a intriguing story that gets better as the player advances in the game. The Bunker achieves its goals.

At worst, it's like you’ve watched a great horror/thriller with a faulty remote by your side. And if you get over that, you’ll enjoy The Bunker. Well, as enjoyable as a post-nuclear holocaust story allows, anyway.

The direction is good, the actors are convincing. The movie experience is intense, but as a game it just never really takes off.

The live-action stuff is atmospheric and well-shot, but The Bunker is let down by poor pacing and staid design. [Dec 2016, p.92]

The Bunker is a well written short film with some good acting. It’s not really a game though, so it ultimately fails to live up to expectations.

The project revives a long forgotten genre of interactive movies. It can surprise with interesting, but unfortunately a linear story, it offers good acting and a very strong atmosphere. Unfortunately, all this does not change the fact The Bunker is boring from the gameplay perspective.

An interesting idea and a great atmosphere is killed by a badly chosen gaming form that simply isn’t consistent with the concept of the film. Ultimately, you cannot play it, or watch. [Issue #268]

  1. £14 is a lot for two hours, and as I think I’ve perhaps covered above, it’s an abysmal game. The Welshest game I’ve ever played, but still abysmal. Great TV show for the most part, but one that keeps annoying your viewing pleasure by asking you to click on a dot. Graphics are amazing, though!

It's not bad game but it didn't enjoy me. I think "Missing: An Interactive Thriller" or "Contradiction: Spot the Liar" are much better. It's not bad game but it didn't enjoy me. I think "Missing: An Interactive Thriller" or "Contradiction: Spot the Liar" are much better.

However, the presentation andThe addition of survival horror elements to the Amnesia formula puts Frictional Games in a good place. However, the presentation and intuitiveness of the experiences created by the studio need to improve so that the franchise can actually compete with other independent names in the genre. The Bunker is not very captivating due to its outdated visuals and its attempts to create fear that only result in a dull game. Full Review »
