Nov 8, 2011During my adventures with The Binding of Isaac, I had fun. It is a very hard game (a huge plus for me) and was very enjoyable. I will admit, I'm sick of seeing flash games you can find on Newgrounds being sold as stand alone pc games though.

Jan 17, 2015The Binding of Isaac is an amazingly rewarding game for its "randomly generated dungeon-looting" theme, which is somewhat unique in the larger gaming universe of today with standard RPGs and MMOs flooding the scene.
Definitely worth the price with countless hours of replay value. -
May 23, 2020Isaac is great. it has many great bosses and all but it feels old and controls sometimes suck.

Jun 30, 2021A genre defining and fantastic roguelike, however rendered absolutely obsolete by the existence of Binding of Isaac: Rebirth.

Feb 27, 2012Little bits of genius infused with a purposeful hate for the player. It's fun messing around with, however completing the game multi-times, and proclaiming it the best game ever made. Says more about the player than the game.

Oct 4, 2011The game is good, but it didn't really fit my tastes, nor my brother's. This game really has potential and is a good 5 dollar buy. Now, the enviroments were bland and the plot was not that good either. I expected more from this game, but I can't say that it wasn't a good buy, because trust me it was a GREAT buy.

Jan 25, 2013Looks like a flash game but its no reason to not play it. The concept is interesting with EVERY map and weapons being random but personaly i didnt find it that much satisfying.

Oct 29, 2016I expected this to be one of those 'indie gems' but i was kinda disappointed. You have no idea what you are doing unless you search everything up on the internet or play for over 600 hours. Everything is random and you don't have a single clue what items do unless you already used it once and somehow remembered it along with the 200 other items.

Apr 21, 2012It's an arcade style game, and you've got to play the same levels over and over, but you get different bonuses each time. You'd better love the gameplay, because you'll be doing the same thing over and over. It's a decent time killer, but after beating it 3 times, I don't think I could ever return to it.

Jun 26, 2013Everything in this game is random, everything in this game is bad.
Wasted potential everywhere, and way too much references to "funny" memes from the internet. -

May 22, 2019My friend recommended this game to me and It's just not my kind of thing. Did not enjoy the gameplay... guess I don't like roguelikes. I will be avoiding such games, so I won't waste my time on this kind of garbage. Pickens condemns.

Nov 8, 2011Compared to other 'flash' games like Castle Crashers you see how boring this game really is. Unless you really love **** blood and dungeons, give this crap a miss

Dec 1, 2011I bought this game after masses of positive critics. To be honest, I was quite disappointed. The story is kinda cute, but this game does not motivate me to play longer than two or three hours.

Dec 19, 2012If you are hoping to find a 21-century version of nethack, simply move on, there is nothing to see here. Nothing, that is, but ugly, uninspired graphics and badly designed mechanics. Some games are *good* because you are at the mercy of a Random Number God, but it takes good design and atmosphere to make that work.

Oct 1, 2012Very-very disappointed. Controls are bad. Shooting sucks with Joytokey either. The visuals are nice, but overall it's an unfair, almost completely luck based, cheap flash game. (Today I learned what "rouge like elements" mean.)

Dec 27, 2014Shows potential if it's ever finished, having a lack of things like an exit button in the menu ... ??? seriously??? If you can get this game for $3-4, go for it, not worth anything more, too many real games out there to dive for this one.
-
Jan 23, 2015This "Game" made me seriously consider quitting video games from its very dark thems and its barbaric depictions of mutilated babies. I'll give it a one because uninstalling it made me feel better. Lets try out the sequel!
-
Jan 20, 2013As ColombiaGames said this game should be for a cell phone, the story makes no sense.
for me 0 because you need to pay to 10 dollars for this game.0 -

Mar 19, 2012The Binding of Isaac looks like an old school game like the original Zeldas, but with a dark scenario and dark humor. It has the typical difficulty of a McMillen game, which is not found anywhere else these days. This game will motivate you to try and try again in such a simple way – just brilliant. If you like the style and the old school gameplay of The Binding of Isaac, you'll have a lot of fun with it.

Mar 10, 2012One may play for an hour or two, but they're constantly tempted to go back in and uncover the scads of remaining secrets. It's a style of game that really intrigues me, and one I want to see more of
