Very little game that gives you way more fun-moments than most big titles. You keep replaying it and it never gets boring. It's very hard and you need a lot of practice. Not that that is a problem. The game is packed with shady humor and it's really suited for almost everybody with some sense pf humor

If you loved The Binding of Isaac, don't even hesitate before buying this. It adds more of everything, and is especially great for those that already 100% cleared the game. It is a tad buggy, but not enough to ruin the experience.

Great game, great DLC. I'm really amazed how such a little game can give more fun than big titles. This DLC add lots of content to the game, which means more hours of gameplay and higher replayability. There are some bugs in this DLC, but come on, that's an indie developer.

The new floors are much more challenging than the old ones but this is welcome after mastering the vanilla floors, and now that there are over 200 items in the game, its even funner to go and play the game just to see what kind of build you get. While there are bugs, they are getting patched very often and are not a reason not to get this as, a dlc so gigantic is bound to have unforseen bugs.
However if you have never play the binding of isaac, i recommend that you play without the dlc on first, as it adds much more difficulty to the game and you might want to be familiar with the game first. Its amazing how this 3$ dlc delivers more than a 15$ Call of Duty multiplayer map pack.

If you thought you had mastered Isaac, think again. For $3, the whole formula gets a total revamp. More of everything, and the creepy dial gets turned all the way to 11. Not recommended for newbies. Finish the vanilla game first, and if you want more, come back for the Wrath.

It is really satisfying to play The Binding of Isaac - The Wrath of the Lamb. The new level types and curses and the trinkets makes the gameplay better. Some of the new enemies are challenging but the difficulty is still fair. There is a new challenge mode with ten challenges, they're also fun and worth to play for some new items. In some challenges you start with good items, but there are no item rooms. So it is fairly balanced. It is a little bit more difficult than before, but it is still OK.

On the bad side of TBoI : The Wrath of the Lamb, the DLC is glitchy! There are so many minor and major glitches. Fortunately I didn't run into most of them, but I experienced some and I read about them. The creators try to fix them, v1.15 is already out, but it is still glitchy. Hopefully, major bugs will be fixed, sometimes it can break your gameplay. For example, you can teleport into isolated secret rooms, there is no escape from those out. It can be very annoying.

There is an other issue since the original game: performance. It is horrible on a weaker computer. There is absolutely no GPU support, everything is calculated by the CPU. If you have a bad CPU, you will get serious slowdowns. The game was written in Flash unfortunately, and in The Wrath of the Lamb, there is still no GPU acceleration. I'm sure if it was written for an other engine, it was way much faster. I was hoping Florian Himsl will do something about it.

If there was no performance issues and glitches I would give The Binding of Isaac : The Wrath of the Lamb a 10. The gameplay is perfect, you won't be bored after playing it a hundred times. It will be always fresh, you will be surprised by getting new items, and other random stuffs.

Even with the issues, this game is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This expansion adds so much new content that it's hard to go back to the original. I find the glitches to be anything but detrimental (except for one where you fight a difficult boss from very far in the game) and in some cases, amusing, similar to Skyrim. It's three dollars. Wrath of Lamb fixes a bit of what was empty in the original game. There's still major design flaws in the game (IE having dungeons generated with tons of things you have no capability of getting no matter what path you choose, basement doors opening up right from under you and taking you to the next level before you can get the powerups after a boss victory, enemy health bars being completely not accurate for instance having an empty bar of health and still going on for a good 10 **** shots, etc. etc.) and there are still plenty of bugs. Trinkets are added which are a pretty "meh" addition in my mind, one HUGE qualm I have with them is that most of them are slight stat boosters, yet you get NO indiciation of what they do - it isn't like a normal powerup or item where in the bottom right it displays what it does, and you can't hover over the item icon or anything to get a brief description of what it's doing (That would just be TOO useful now wouldn't it?), basically it forces you to go outside of the game and look up online wikis to see what they do. That's **** unacceptable - bad design at its finest.

On principal I also think it's **** you don't have an option to play normal binding of isaac gameplay, once you purchase this game through steam you're **** stuck with it. There's no option in game, no option to uninstall, nope you are now playinig wrath of the lamb indefinitely. Unaccaptable and lazy on behalf of the developer.

I'm giving it a decent rating because despite it's flaws (which really irk because they'd be EASY to overcome if the developer wasn't so lazy) it's a HIGHLY replayable game, with a great amount of challenge and variety. Well worth the 3 bucks or whatever the **** it costs, it's definitely worth the money, just be prepared to rage often and heavy.

Unfortunately this DLC has bugs galore, along with some questionable design issues. Firstly, the first few floors are unreasonably difficult, even for Isaac. This goes with one of the new bosses as well, although the other boss is much easier.
The endgame, however, is much easier than it's ever been. This is mostly because in order to get past the first few floors, you have to be over powered. Then, by the time you get to the later floors, your power has only stacked with each new item. This leads to ridiculously easy fights against bosses who should, and used to, pose quite a challenge. Hopefully the bugs and balancing issues will be fixed in time, but at the moment I can't really recommend this DLC; it's only 3 dollars, however, so buy it anyway to support the dev.

There are more powerful power-up too, but they go in the same pool of the old ones, making it difficult to make builds powerful enough to match with the challenges of the new enemies. Rooms full of monster, where is almost impossible to get through without taking damage, are quite common, I've actually died a lot of times despite having very good power-up because I couldn't fly and dodge all that was being thrown to me. I like difficulty, but I like it when it is fair, and in this case it doesn't feel like it. My advise, if you haven't played yet vanilla, is to play it without the dlc. Then, if you really want more and are fine with what I described above, go for it, the amount of content it adds it's sure worth the price. Expand
