Let's make it clear. It is not a game based on mechanics, it is an interactive experience based only on its audiovisual brilliance. Yes, gameplay wise, its kinda simple and repetitive, but you need to look at this game as more audiovisual ecstasy. Art style, sceneries and music are top notch. I could listen to those solos and music all day long. The world is beautifully build and I loved this journey through time and space. Totally recommend it to everyone who loves beautiful sight and mesmerizing music.

The title of the game says it all. It is an artful escape.

The art in this game is amazing and if you like rock, or even just music in general, this is an experience to be had!

I'm glad I was curious enough to try this "game".

Thank you to its devs and cheers to the voice actors! Amazing job!

I rarely ever leave game reviews, but I think I owe it to the team behind this game. This was such a fun ride. I will be telling all my friends who are into music, art, and the weird and unusual about this one.

Psychedelic. Artsy. Unique. Eyegasm. Full of heart. Would recommend 10/10. It's a "game" we all need right now after a rough year. It's more of eye candy with insanely

It's a "game" we all need right now after a rough year. It's more of eye candy with insanely creative story line with jumping, wailing a guitar, and power-sliding. Get this game right now, you will not regret it!

The game grabbed me right away with its unique presentation and its intriguing premise. It took me 4 hours to complete and I totally enjoyed my journey in this luxuriant universe. It's really a joke this game lost to Death Loop in the art direction category. The visuals are nothing short of spectacular, literally out of this world. A arte e o cenário desse jogo são incríveis, a trilha sonora é fenomenal e a história é emocionante. A gameplay não é extremamente complexa, mas isso não estraga a experiência.

The Artful Escape exceeded all my expectations with incredible visuals, great music, and a very compelling story. It is only held back by its mediocre platforming.

If you like these kind of experimental art-focused games which don't really have a mind-blowing gameplay but gives you a completely unique experience, I'm 100% sure you will like this one.

The Artful Escape is short enough to be enjoyable (about 3-4 hours) since its gameplay may be repetitive (some easy parkour levels with amazing visual backgrounds and the musical levels), and that's the reason why I can't give it a 10, even if I enjoyed it so much.

The Artful Escape might seem easy to some players, but its flawless and engaging music and art direction make it worth your time.

The Artful Escape focuses the attention on the narrative through a powerful audiovisual staging, reducing the platforms and the challenge to the minimum expression to provide the player with an authentic festival of rock, psychedelia and surrealism.

By the time the final credits roll on The Artful Escape, it’s a challenge to succinctly summarise what you’ve just experienced. It’s a game without a genre, one composed of familiar elements blended in an unfamiliar way, creating something that is uniquely its own. It’s been a long time coming since The Artful Escape was given its initial glimpse of what was in store, but when it’s all said and done, it leaves the audience satisfied but still wanting just a little more. Like any good concert.
