Sep 19, 2021Yes, gameplay wise, its kinda simple and repetitive, but you need to look at this game as more audiovisual ecstasy. Art style, sceneries and music are top notch. I could listen to those solos and music all day long. The world is beautifully build and I loved this journey through time and space. Totally recommend it to everyone who loves beautiful sight and mesmerizing music.

Sep 20, 2021The title of the game says it all. It is an artful escape.
The art in this game is amazing and if you like rock, or even just music in general, this is an experience to be had!
I'm glad I was curious enough to try this "game".
Thank you to its devs and cheers to the voice actors! Amazing job! -
May 2, 2022I'm loving it. Was promised the Romanian parliament building, though. People get offered an innovative experience and they complain about "gameplay". Some lines do get repetitive towards the end though, it feels it has the writing of a shonen anime. The ending is great in theory, but the execution is rather lacking.

Jul 3, 2022Fun little psychedelic visual snack, not really much of a game or a story...

May 12, 2022A arte e o cenário desse jogo são incríveis, a trilha sonora é fenomenal e a história é emocionante. A gameplay não é extremamente complexa, mas isso não estraga a experiência.

Sep 15, 2022With it's stunning atmosphere and it's musics it's an experience rather than a game.

Sep 17, 2021its by no means a perfect game....it has many flaws....but for the mere beautiful visuals in this game its worth playing. Some levels were soooo beautiful just to look at.When it comes to story i didnt feel anything special, pretty much forgettable.

Nov 2, 2021I'll say this in defense of The Artful Escape: it almost features a complete story! Wow, they got like 60% of the way through a whole character arc before they just gave up and ended the game! On the other hand, there is about 0% of a game here.

Feb 21, 2022The Artful Escape exceeded all my expectations with incredible visuals, great music, and a very compelling story. It is only held back by its mediocre platforming.

Nov 11, 2021The Artful Escape might seem easy to some players, but its flawless and engaging music and art direction make it worth your time.
-
Oct 21, 2021The Artful Escape focuses the attention on the narrative through a powerful audiovisual staging, reducing the platforms and the challenge to the minimum expression to provide the player with an authentic festival of rock, psychedelia and surrealism.

Oct 4, 2021By the time the final credits roll on The Artful Escape, it’s a challenge to succinctly summarise what you’ve just experienced. It’s a game without a genre, one composed of familiar elements blended in an unfamiliar way, creating something that is uniquely its own. It’s been a long time coming since The Artful Escape was given its initial glimpse of what was in store, but when it’s all said and done, it leaves the audience satisfied but still wanting just a little more. Like any good concert.
