    While I was watching the end credits, someone in the other room started playing the Talking Heads, and I sighed. There is a lot of mediocre music in this game, and a lot of crappy contemporary pop. The levels that are instrumental and minimal, such as the wonderfully sputtering "kaleidoscope," can be transcendent. But they're a clear minority, which makes the game ultimately a disappointment.

    It's just a typical tetris game with some flashy effects. I don't get what's so special about it.

    Well the controls suffer from being ported to the PC.
    If you try to use mouse ... it feels like your moving underwater its so sluggish and you cant turn up the mouse speed in settings.
    Keyboard have a ... unintuitive set of controls not what you would guess nor is it ergonomic And then did not manage to try it out with with a controller since it did not support the one i owned, big    Well the controls suffer from being ported to the PC.

    The demand on speed in controls is huge try running a race car with your feet instead of your hands and see how that FEELS.
    Sure give someone 20 years and maybe they can learn to use feet if they start young enough ...

    The sound is very VERY good, recommend it on easy as a audio experience worth doing.
    Its almost a amazing game but they didnt try hard enough when porting it might be great on PS 4    … Expand

    You can imagine my surprise when the music kicks in and its some kind of crappy hip hop rap garbage. I not only do not listen to that kind of music, I do not tolerate it. I expect there to be some notification that the soundtrack is hip hop/rap oriented before I buy something. Its like just because today's "top 20" is full of unknown rap and hip hop garbage that they took the libertyYou can imagine my surprise when the music kicks in and its some kind of crappy hip hop rap garbage. Its like just because today's "top 20" is full of unknown rap and hip hop garbage that they took the liberty of assuming that this is considered 'popular' music and didnt see a need to let people know that that is what the soundtrack consisted of. You can bet your *** that if the sound track was some kind of hard rock they would have let people know in advance. Much of it is crude and insulting, but thankfully some of the levels have world and new age instrumental music. On another positive note there are something to the effect of 40 levels so you still get a few that are good and playable even if you are not into rap/hip hop etc. Still it is very disturbing that they can sell something like this without letting a potential buyer know what they are getting into. Its like being tricked into going to some type of Jesus festival. Its like today's music has become such a fat, slovenly disgusting 1200 pound "Beyonce" that they are acting like other kinds of music don't even exist. Jazz, instrumental, "world", New Age... perfectly acceptable. There is clearly an effort to have music and sounds from cultures all over the world and that is great. What is not acceptable is that the "American" portion of the music solely consists of rap and hip hop garbage. If that is the case, a buyer should be made aware of it. Let me know what I am getting into. Don't just try to slip it in under the guise that "Oh is there some other type of American Music?". Very, very disturbing.… Expand

    Может быть я не до конца улавливаю фишку, но чисто по моему субъективному мнение, это просто красивый и динамичный тетрис.

    Tetris Effect is a magical experience that you really need to witness to believe. Featuring over thirty stages, unlockable content, and a wide range of challenges with their own leaderboards, it’s also the most complete Tetris experience to date. There’s endless replay value here for fans of the classic puzzle formula and virtual reality is the cherry on top.

    Tetris Effect reflects the classic puzzle game through a particle filled kaleidoscope, putting players into a mesmerizing trance with its unique presentation, alongside classic gameplay. Its price point might jolt you back to reality, though.
