Hmmm... while this certainly seems 'fresh' and 'original' at first, the originality of this game soon wears off. If you are a fan of strategy fps's, then you should, at the very least, like this game. It's far too difficult for casual gamers though. I liked SWAT 3 because I found it easy to maneuver the men around in missions. Yet the mission design is flawed and comes off boring later on, if the game had sudden events in it that cause you to reconfigure your planning, I might've enjoyed this game more. It's good though nonetheless.

  1. "SWAT 3: Close Quarters Battle" changed the face of the first-person tactical genre, and the Elite Edition polishes it to a near mirror shine.
  2. The addition of multiplayer really adds a whole other dimension to the gaming experience.

Simply put, if you loved SWAT 3, this upgrade is a blessing. And if you resisted SWAT 3 because of its lack of multiplayer, you're out of excuses now.
