    If you are looking for a Contra-clone, this is probably as good as it gets. Controls are great. Very difficult, even on the "easy" setting, but mostly fair, at least, when you have the spread gun.

    That would be my first complaint – the weapons are not balanced well. In Contra III, you can beat the game with any weapon. In Super Cyborg, once you lose the spread gun, it gets so much more    If you are looking for a Contra-clone, this is probably as good as it gets. Controls are great.
