    A complex beast. Its rough technical edges and frustrating design oversights nearly drove me away, yet its silly humor and inviting visual style constantly pulled me back in.

    Super Comboman is a fairly well-made brawler that reached for the stars and fell a bit short. While it nails the light and heavy attack combo system, there isn’t much depth to it.

    For $15, there are other games in this same style that are better executed and are far less frustrating to play.

Despite the promise of skillful, combo-based fighting it instead has awkward and slippery combat and terrible platforming. Highly repetitive and with one of those annoying "lol so silly!" senses of humour, it doesn't even manage to be bad in an interesting way, just boring and bland.… Full Review »
