    Summer Catchers is a perfect pastime for the days when the summer is past us. During grim autumn and winter evenings, the game’s jolly escapism will no doubt be at its best.

    Wasted potential: I don't think I can find any better description for this game. Summer Catchers is a gorgeous looking game with an outstanding atmosphere, but it had to ruin all that with a weak gameplay.

    There’s a lot to discover in Summer Catchers, but I feel like the PC version is the worst way to do so. If you’re considering buying this on a tablet or phone, add a point or two to the review score.

    Summer Catchers is an endless runner that combines beautiful pixel art and an amazing OST. Start your engines and help Chu get to the ocean, but only if you like RNG.

    Summer Catchers is a game that I want to love, but it actively works against itself to keep me from fully enjoying the world around the action. With such wonderful art and style, this was a game built upon lofty dreams that just couldn’t quite reach expectations. RNG as a mechanic can be fun, but when it’s the core loop of your gameplay, every moment is just a gamble.
