Feb 6, 2024Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League delivers a solid looter shooter experience wrapped up in an actually hilarious narrative, with incredible performances from the cast of misfits. While live-service elements and repetitive missions muddy the experience, Suicide Squad is solid fun that, even after 30+ hours, I’m still jumping back into every night.

Feb 3, 2024Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is a welcome addition to co-op looter-shooters, and while its live-service aspects may turn some away, it’s friendly enough, and promising enough, to newcomers to the genre. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League doesn’t have the triumphant flair of the Batman: Arkham series, but the game deserves a fair chance for those who enjoy the worlds of DC Comics and exhilarating gameplay loops because Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League shows what fun a co-op game should be.

Feb 2, 2024Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is actually a good game. The good found in gameplay, cutscenes, and level design far outweigh the bad found in the campaign's pacing and some grisly missions and boss fights. Overall, I am pleasantly surprised with Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, flaws and all, and will definitely be sticking around.

Feb 21, 2024Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is an overdesigned version of what could've been an appealing and easygoing game à la Hi-Fi Rush or Sunset Overdrive. DC's baddies are at their best when actors and artists are able to show their skills, but these moments are sadly overshadowed by many layers of unnecessary RPG depth that don't really add for a compelling experience. Rocksteady has clearly done what they could with a business model that once again proves to be a bit too ambitious to be genuinely good.

Feb 6, 2024There’s a really excellent single-player action game hiding somewhere deep inside Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, calling out for help from beneath a few metric tonnes of loot-addled drudgery. The vast talent of Rocksteady peeps out just often enough to make it worthwhile for the genre’s fans, but the game’s extended development time has Suicide Squad chasing old trends, leaving it feeling cautious, unambitious and old-fashioned.
