Stupid Invaders is fun and funny, a masterful blend of high art and low humor. (I am glad that computer-generated odors are not yet a reality.) It is my new favorite game of all-time, displacing even The Longest Journey and Grim Fandango.
-
What adventure lovers will appreciate the most about this game, I think, is the fact that, with all its polish and rich production values, it's still at heart a completely traditional third-person point-and-click adventure.
-
One of the best adventure games for the last couple of years, being thoroughly worked out and pleasingly rounded - it takes a lot of effort to appear so dumb, obviously.
-
The same way a movie like "Weird Science" would never be considered for an Oscar, Stupid Invaders makes no pretense about being a landmark game. This one is all about humor and fun factor.
-
You will not see better graphics, or hear better sound effects and music, or laugh more at absolutely zany jokes in a cartoon adventure on either a computer or movie screen.
-
A very humours game. With luminous graphics, dozens of different locations to explore, and a zany set of characters to interact with it is a value at the retail price of $30 US. Oh and it has toilets lots of them.
-
All in all I had a nice time playing the Stupid Invaders. Still, if you are a serious adventure player, it won't take you more than a day or two to complete all four disks.
-
Stupid Invaders requires amoral behavior to complete youll kill more than a few people, including Santa some of which is fun to watch.
-
An enjoyable, silly diversion that will trigger a few laughs and -- unfortunately -- a bit of aggravation, as well.
