Strike Vector is a fast paced, high customizable old school space shooter that will blow you away with its gorgeous graphics and its satisfying and frenzied gameplay.

While a bit rough around the edges and not exactly great when it comes to content, this is probably the best arena shooter we've played in years. With an hard to master and brilliant high-speed gameplay, Ragequit's game has the ability to awaken the competitive spirit of every veteran of the genre, doesn't matter how shriveled it is by today's standards. Quite the amazing feat.

Although Strike Vector is enjoyable to play then, its current range of content hardly represents stellar value at a launch price of £18.99 - even if it is all available up front. RageQuit is promising frequent, and entirely free updates over the coming months however, so if you consider that lump sum a gamble on a lifetime membership to a subscription service then it becomes a little more palatable.

Strike Vector delivers a hardcore multiplayer experience that's easy to learn but difficult to master.

Strike Vector is a unique, must-consider offering for all those who wish to experience something competitive fast, balanced and damn hard.

Strike Vector is definitely well crafted, it just needs more variety to really shine.

Strike Vector is an excellent online flight shooter that requires rapidity and dexterity.

Those players who enjoyed games like Unreal Tournament will find a game with much of its essence, but with spaceships. We expect more content and game modes to expand the experience, but it is a good start.

The developers – aptly named Ragequit – focused on the big picture, which is wonderfully captured dogfights between megabots, but they've neglected to tie all its complex pieces together with a useful tutorial.

Serving three masters as it does, Strike Vector might not have a whole lot of mass-market appeal, but what it lacks in that field, it more than makes up for by being a gorgeous, intensely competitive experience that matches its aesthetic appeal with pure shooter satisfaction.

Strike Vector is a game with great ideas, and really breathes some life into a dying genre. The game’s challenge may be a bit too much for casual players, but if you’re looking to scratch that aerial shooter itch with a frantic edge, then take to the skies — but don’t expect to live long.

Ever wonder what it would be like to be a gundam pilot? This is as close as you're going to get.

Strike Vector is a fast paced twitch shooter with map control elements reminiscent of Quake. There is a significant skill curve and gap, and rightfully so. To excel at this game you have to work to improve skills, otherwise you are just a dead man in a floating coffin.

In regards to pricing - this is what Tribes Ascend should have done. It is respectful and generous to the players and will guarantee prolonged future success for this game.

I haven't seen a game like this since Unreal 2K4 when we used to play PIG and ZARK. It's super fast paced and as one other reviewer said, "easy to learn, hard to master". It may be the most unique game I've ever played. RageQuit blended flying and FPS so seamlessly that you are almost left amazed that no one has done this before. It's not the deepest game in the world but it doesn't have to be. It's all about the scoreboard at the end. Brings me back to the golden age of PC gaming. Best $20 I've ever spent.
