Demo version of the game for full price! Very greedy company. And where are my previous reviews of this game? This is a question for the site owners.

Сюжетка покупается отдельно - это что-то новенькое, конечно. Диалоги, кст, говно, да и боевка тоже. Это было бы круто году в 2007, сейчас это не конкурент.

It is a half-game. Loading time are extremely long even if you play only offline. There are no interesting game modes, few characters and the mechanics to unlock the characters are horrible, the game also pushes you to spend money to unlock accessories without respect for those who paid for an incomplete and ugly game.

well, this game certainly has good aspects, like graphics, characters and mechanics.
but unfortunately, it does not fulfill its functions as a good fighting game. even SF III is better.

Finally rating this game, as I just got back to playing it (2019). When it released in 2016 it was pretty poor with little to no content for casual players, like myself.
However, getting back on it in 2019 has been a chore in itself! I found that there have been many changes and a more complicated (but at least finished) system.

However, getting back on it in 2019 has been a chore in itself! I found that there have been many changes and a more complicated (but at least finished) system.
The next frustration I experienced is the fact that everything is behind a paywall or DLC content. The very few characters that SFV released with was laughable and one of my favourite characters was not even in the roster! Now the character has been included in the season pass 3, which is an expensive DLC. Additional stages are also behind a paywall, the original costumes of characters are behind a paywall...everything is behind a paywall. I wouldn't be so frustrated with this if I didn't pay FULL TRIPLE A price for the game when it first released! As I didn't expect this kind of trickle-model for content release.

Finally the good of this game. After so many years it's actually worth playing! It has a story mode, finally. The story mode is okay, it could have been made longer and more interesting, maybe like Mortal Kombat's long and elaborate single player story campaign? Increase in game modes is also welcome. All the new online and multiplayer aspects are welcome but not too thrilling, for myself at least.

Overall, it's not the breakthrough or most amazing Street Fighter ever, like SF4 was. But it's alright and it's finally worth buying and playing. The base game is less than half the price of the launch price. Add all the season passes and it becomes a bit over priced, but almost, ALMOST, acceptable. Still don't agree with all the expensive add-on stages and costumes being so ridiculously expensive, since it's not a free game, nor a cheap one either!

Hence, my score reflects not the overall fun or mechanics of the game, which are still very solid and very street fighter! But rather it reflects the crap and shady paywall content and continuous money grab very apparent in this game. In essence you need to be a hardcore player to truly enjoy this game and perhaps earn some of the DLC content and actually care about it to stay invested long term.

The game is fun, but the issue is the monetization. If you thought microtransactions are bad, this game now has in-game ads. This needs to be stopped before everyone else in the industry catches on and blows it out of proportion.

Five reasons for street fighters 5 bad review.
    1.Censored the game.
2.The game is now meant for casual players.
    3.Lack of characters and levels.
4.Error codes up the wazoo playing online.
5.Theirs something extremely unpolished about it, like it wasn't finished.

I'm only scoring it higher than zero because of mods support, which makes the game interesting while we wait for Capcoms turn.
Alas, the very fact I had to play this on PC is a good reason for not getting my mouse near the green bar: how do you make a Street Fighter console X or Y exclusive? Damn you, Capcom!

This game is awesome. Easy to get matches. Satisfying combos and specials. And it is beautiful. A lot of people are complaining about the DLC, but I'd rather spend $20 a year for incremental updates via season pass than spend $60 on a new game every year. Shame that reviews almost lead me to avoid this game.

Short story modes with only one or two fighting segments which all were boring
16 characters which Lacked fan favorites like they returned Birdie, Mika, and Karin and Nash from Alpha and new ones like Necalli and Laura.
Barebones offline mode with no Arcade mode,
    No Player vs CPU,
    No Tournament mode
    No Endless Battle
    No Team battle
Bad characters looks like Ken unless you give him a different costume,
    Clipping issues,
and bad online connections (Worst SF with bad Netcodes). Oh and did I forget YOU CAN'T FREAKIN BIND YOUR KEYS ON PC IN 2016-17 ARE YOU FREAKIN SERIOUS CAPCOM NO WONDER YOU'RE CALLED CASHCOM you can Bind Keys in SF4 this is a highway HYPE-ROBBERY of course later on they did add a cinematic story but its cheesy and doesn't stand out. Additional characters like Ibuki (My main from SFIV and Third Strike) Urien, Juri, Akuma,Alex and a new one from Season 2 Krolin. BUUUUUUUTTTT you have to Pay to get all the Characters and Maps 0_0 WUT $4.00 each on PSN but if you want all buy the Season pass for 30$ EACH Season(Year there are 4 seasons) yes Capcom is supporting this game until 2020 to sell it as well as SF4 if you want this game to be good PLZ tell CASHCOM what you want Improved in this game. The game is still Barebones now wait Until 2020 if you are a casual fighting player then you will get everything then. To those who still support this game giving it a 8-10 and GOTY 2016 and say its better than 3 and 4 *SLAP* you should be ashamed of yourself for supporting an boring game.
    Pros:
Fighting is good though not complex as SFIV
At least they tried a cinematic story
    Graphics at times
Rise Up more like Rise up to Cash in a highway robbery

I couldn't get any of my friends to sit and play it more than 2 rounds, and that was a painful slog even. The new characters are fine, probably the only redeeming quality to the game. Launched without any features of a complete game, including an arcade mode in a longtime arcade based fighting game series. Would not recommend to anyone.

Capcom's seasonal release DLC characters/stages/costumes/colours/everything **** else is yet another money grab from publishers to sap as much as they possibly can without any give or support to the player or community (excluding the capcom pro tour).

The game offers the player very little in terms of any solo-play features; favoring multi-player in every possible way, even the character story mode and free DLC story really just accentuates the money grabbing repugnance of DLCs characters and the sheer lack abd idiocy of the base characters by making you play them very briefly in a headbangingly generic story filled with very little.. ANYTHING. The only thing that can making the pain in your forehead worse from bashing your head off the closest thing in sight is the lack of an Arcade Mode. Replaced with the utter atrocity that is Survival Mode - a mode so infuriating and boring that every character you do this with you end up hating more and more after every victory.

Even character exclusion and appeal to an newer community can be excused; however there is no way to justify paying 1/10th of game's value just for one character (without any of the alternative costumes; that if you would like to get, you either are forced to pay for it or forced to grind for hours just to get). Or even 1/3rd of the games base price just for one season's pass, meaning that with the release of every season you will need to buy another season pass topping the value that you are spending on this inadequacy of a game to ridiculous levels (and don't even get me started on alternative colours).

My aspirations for this game were cut short with the release of Season's Two Akuma and changes to Ryu as the multi-player feel that every second player has watched the same tutorial on how to play the game. If the sudden realisation that this is only going to get worse, haven't hit, the sour taste in your mouth after another 6 seasons of spending money on characters just to play a game that should have been available on day one release should.

    TL;DR: G I V E U S O U R F U C K I N G A R C A D E M O D E & S T O P M A K I N G U S P A Y T O P L A Y.

Bom vamos la esse é o meu primeiro Review aqui no Meta.

Estou chegando a quase 100 horas do jogo basta olhar no meu perfil da Steam ( mitogouken )

O jogo é otimo , mecanica limpa e encaixa perfeitamente.

    1 VEZ MERCENARIA , SEMPRE MERCENARIA !

This game was certainly not worth $60 for the state it was in at launch. At the very least be up front and transparent that there is no arcade mode. Jim Sterling coined the term Early AAAccess. Its an apt description for what SSFV contained at launch.

There was no arcade mode (A series staple) at launch. The story mode what little there is consisted of poorly drawn graphic novel like stills that can be completed in a few short minutes. The game also lacks a proper training mode, no vs. AI, among other issues like connectivity. Not to mention that the playable roster of characters at 16 seems a bit anemic compared to rosters of other games of the genre.

There are a number of people who might try to defend this game saying its made for the competitive players. I feel this is an excuse that just doesn't fly. You are paying more for less.

The truth of the matter is that the people who grew up with SSF playing its story mode and arcade are the people who were Capcom's bread and butter. Its those fans who have passionately loved the series for so long that have made it a premier fighting game. There was no online back then. Capcom have slapped the fans of SSF in the face. Its a damned shame too because the game plays well; but its high price for lacking content is too much to ignore.

Server stability seems better now. However Capcom themselves admitted it was rushed. Hopefully they continue to improve on what is there. Hopefully they won't repeat the same mistake they made with the release of this game. Hopefully they realize that the casuals are just as important for the health of a fighting game as the professionals.

(I hadn't played a game in the series other than 2 yet.)
and although the game was fun, it was blatantly incomplete. On launch (Not early access.) half the main menu was unavailable because the game wasn't even finished yet, but Capcom was still selling it for a full $60! After two days of ownership, I refunded it, and using the money on steam, I bought ultra street fighter 4, and shogun total war 2.(Both great games btw). I ultimately found myself loving street fighter 4.The gameplay managed to be easy to learn but hard to master, and it had a wide variety of unique, and likable characters. Some time later, when street fighter 5 was on sale I decided to give it another shot.I didn't go into much detail on what was so "incomplete" about the game before, so here's a general list. The character roster was painfully small, with only sixteen characters, this may not seem bad, but ultra street fighter 4 had over thirty, so this was a bit of a disappointment.
Not to mention only half of them in 5 were the more popular characters in the franchise, so some fan favorites were left out, like Guile.Over time, this game has expanded on that roster, but Ill talk about that later. There was no arcade mode, which has been a series staple since the first installment.
in verses mode, there was no way fight an AI.And this game clearly has no idea what a PC is.Street fighter 4 was a surprisingly high quality port, it was still best played with a controller, but It put in the effort to assimilate.there were a satisfactory amount of resolutions, and the game even had a benchmark tool to test how good your computer was for the game.Street fighter 5 on the other hand is clueless, you are immediately greeted with a message at the start of the game, to close it, you don't push enter or space or something understandable like that, No, you push b,B! And finally, the game was just Ugly, the color pallet is blindingly bright, making everything look like its made of plastic, and some of the 3-D models are so oddly shaped it's ridiculous, (Ken in particular).
So, when I bought this game again I hoped at least some of these problems had been fixed, and although the character roster has grown to be roughly half the size of its predecessor, many of the other problems remain, I still can't find a way to fight an AI, arcade mode is still largely absent, and now some of the new characters which were left out (guile in particular) not only still look ugly in this art style, but have been redesigned to look even worse. As for the gameplay itself, well it's adequate.street fighter 4 had two bars to watch other than health, The super bar, which is charged upon taking or dealing damage, and you can use some of to enhance an attack, or charge to full capacity for one really big attack. and the ultra bar, which only charged when you take damage, when it fills, you can use a 1 of 2cinematic special move to level the playing field with your opponent. In street fighter 5, the super is still present, but with a smaller capacity, and the ultra has been swapped out for the V-gauge.essentially, each character has one special attack which charges the V-gauge when when it lands. When full, it activates a unique buff for each character. It's kind of fun to use, but it sacrifices you ultra. Now, instead of having 3 big special attacks, each character only has one. other than that, the combat is similar to before, only difference being an emphasis on counters, which can now result in either blowing you opponent away, or stunning them temporarily. It's still fun, but the lack of characters, and no way to fight AI in Vs bogs it down. Not to mention that this game has a heavy focus on online play, so character customization seems like a high priority. Yet, the only way to even get alternate colors for characters is to either win a few in the survival mode, or pay using either A, in game currency which is only awarded after winning online or completing a challenge, or B, Real money. you get 50 in game credits for beating someone on your level online, and stages and skins cost like 50000 each! you also use this method of payment for the characters which came after the games launch, so many of the fan favorites which were left out need micro transactions, or constant pay to collect. Finally, there is the games main story mode.
This didn't come with the game at launch either, but it's free, It's fun, and the characters are interesting. But it only lasts like 4 hours, and it goes a very different direction than you would expect.Instead of focusing on Necalli, the villain who was hyped up for this game, it focuses on other things, where Necalli is barley developed and not even the main focus. If you like the series you'll like this, but not as much

Although this game may not have as many features or characters as Ultra Street Street fighter 4's roster. The game has been said to be be supported for the next 5-10 years minimum. Which means like Street Fighter 4 that the game will continue to grow. However without needing to purchase a updated version.

Street fighter has taken a new route and decided that all purchasable content can be purchased with in game credits (Fight Money), which shows that Capcom listens to their users. They also made sure that this Fight Money can can be earned easily and doesn't require months of grinding like some MMORPGs might have you do. They did this to give that option over micro transactions which some gamers tend to dislike.

Overall this game is fun and balanced with a competitive scene which wouldn't die anytime soon. This game will continually be supported and buying this game early was kinda an investment to be able to stack up on Fight Money which can be used on Stages, Characters, colours etc. The game is fun overall and has a large online userbase. The netcode is smooth and there isnt much to complain about what is actually there.

The core engine and game play is great. Every one has a v-skill that is just another option for player to use. For example Ryu v-skill is a parry which also him to negate damage when timed properly against the opponent's attack. The v-gauge system is interesting. It is a resource in the game that lets the player have more offensive and defensive options. They can use it to spend one bar for a v-reversal which is comparable to an alpha counter. They can also use the full v-gauge for a v-trigger. This can give players unique properties, mix-ups, and the ability to extend some combos.

The PC version runs great since it was made with UE. The visuals and animations are nicely detailed. This game has some nice music tracks. Some are great remixes of classic themes and some are brand new.

It was planned that this game is the only version of the game to buy and that they would support it with future DLCs but that might change because people are hating on the game. More characters will be released. They also have said you can earn some of the content for free.

There might not be much for casual content but I don't really care about those aspects of the game. There are still pictures and voice acting for the current story mode for them. There is also survival mode where people can earn colors fighting the AI. They will have to wait for the full cinematic story later and maybe then it will be worth it for some.

There are less option selects in this game when compared to sf4 making the game more honest and not cheap. You also can't cheat 1 frame inputs like in sf4 with plinks so they made the idea of having 3 frame buffer window for 1 frame links in this game instead. The game is currently well balanced when compared to many other games.

Online play will never replace offline play unless everyone has crazy internet and stop using wifi.

Gaming these days is sort of sad. Scrubs will never understand fighting games even if you try to appeal to them. It is sad to see pro reviewers are never consistent on how they judge games. If people want to judge how a game has content or if a game is fun then so be it. I had a lot of fun with this game and it was worth my money and I can't want for what this game has in store for the future. The game revolves around beating another human opponent and that is all the content I need. Maybe they should have just made an arcade version where only japan would be playing the game and people would still complain. If you don't like the game at its current state then fine you can wait. You can probably find it on sale or something.

While I could not have recommended it to any but the hardcore fighting game community when it released, it’s now complete enough that I don’t have qualms about getting into it now. I’m still having fun with the game, even though most of my time is spent trying to complete survival runs and challenges rather then feed people rating boots online.

There's a lot to love in Street Fighter V, especially Rainbow Mika, but the fact is that the game still isn't where it needs to be yet. The March update helped, but it was just a band aid on some pretty deep lacerations. Serious fighting game fans can hop in now without too many problems, but more casual players might want to wait—more fixes and a real story mode are still coming.

At the moment, with its fantastic gameplay but a serious lack of content, Street Fighter 5 is a solid 7/10; a good game that is a great for fans of the genre but can’t be recommended to all. Hopefully though, in a year’s time when the promised features have been added and the roster of fighters has been increased in number, it’ll be worthy of a 9/10. Until then however, those looking for single player fighting thrills should look elsewhere to get their kicks, whilst those wanting to just play online will definitely enjoy Street Fighter 5, but may find its repetition of stages and fighters slightly irksome.
