Ultimately, Distant Stars is an interesting expansion that expands the game’s content without pushing any boundaries. It doesn’t increase the game’s scope but given how bare the current mid-game is and the sheer number of new anomalies added in the DLC, it is hard to pass this up.

Please, return a normal Stellaris travels, not this lane-lame only thing. Also, bugs. I got gray nanites invasion, but i wasn't able to stop it, though i conquered all their stars. I tried to play 2 times, and uninstall it twice angrily - you just spoiled your perfect game.
    The verdict - non-playable
