Mar 11, 2012Very bad netcode. Generic top down shooter that gets no points for originality. Not worth my time or yours. If it was free it is still bland and bad. Stay away

May 16, 2012I got the game during the Steam Christmas sales for like a dollar. Played it once for about an hour, and never played it again. This game is bland, boring, and repetitive. Do not spend any money on it, even if it is on sale.

Sep 30, 2013This game is broken and unplayable. The camera gives you headaches and nausea, and it's impossible to connect with a friend to play it. Waste of time and money. Avoid it at all costs.

Jun 9, 2011Very enjoyable and well executed old-time evoker top-down shooter. Nice graphics, many destructible elements in the enviroenment, missions, ... recommended.

May 15, 2012I paid a dollar for this game. It's worth at least twice that. Gameplay is a bit repetitive but its fun to play. The art and textures are fairly tight and have a nice style without sacrificing 3d graphix

Oct 1, 2013Simply said, this game is mind-numbingly boring. It's so bad it's not even a game, just a bunch of mechanics strewn together. I hate myself for wasting $2 to buy it, and now it's cluttering up my Steam Library. Don't buy it, and don't buy anything else from this horrible company that publishes unfinished games.

Dec 5, 2011A fun 3rd person shooter hovercraft game that is fun to play with a few friends. You hover around shooting eachother and collecting weapon upgrades laying around.

Jan 28, 2012Steel Storm is a really fun game. Game play is simple, yet challenging. Playing this makes me feel like I'm a kid again playing video games back in the mid 90s, and that is something that you very rarely get these days. The level editor is a nice feature its good for making some extra multilayer maps. It ran pretty good on my system.

Aug 4, 2011This game is a fast paced and action packed shooter that is sure to hook you in. With the weapon upgrades and other neat utilities, this reminds me of a top down version of Gradius (which isn't a bad thing).

Jul 10, 2011This is a great game and a lot of fun. Before you know it your leaning around, like that would help. I bought the Linux version and runs extremely well. It takes good advantage of the XBox 360 controller under Linux. Give it a shot. It's a great price for a great game. Support indie games.

Oct 12, 2013Buyer beware. Just because it's cheap, doesn't mean it's worth your money. Extremely simplistic gameplay mechanics, and the online feature is broken. Avoid.

May 12, 2014This game is dumb, It is hard and boring. It's also usually really hard to open locked doors. If you want to buy this, then just don't. Controls are horrible, everything is just bad.

PC GamerAug 11, 2011Simple, explosion-packed action is what SS:BR looks like, and that's exactly what it'll deliver. Nothing more, nothing less. [Oct 2011, p.78]

Jun 14, 2011Steel Storm is a nice scrolling shooter, with a few innovative features (as the first person view you can activate at will). Too bad it delivers a quite short experience.

Jun 13, 2011Its good fun, but only for limited time and then it gets pale.
