Apr 19, 2014Game is broken. You'll start out with a small group of like you and three people one being the radio person lily and one other friend you can switch too. As soon as you start playing you will be spammed with hordes and random zombies. Once you kill one horde another one insta-spawns like 20 feet away making survival almost impossible. I'm so glad they added "difficulty" to this game.

Jan 19, 2014I've really enjoyed the challenge that Breakdown brings, building up a community while things get harder and harder just add's that much more enjoyment. I'd love to see the possibility of different maps/areas, but that's just a want.

Dec 11, 2013It brings absolutely nothing new to the existing release besides a slightly updated loot system, but adds a genuinely compulsive survival mode for those who want to play out their zombie apocalypse fantasies without constant calls for help and a mountain of busy-work to get through.

Dec 2, 2013What the people want doesn’t always have to be a revolution. State of Decay: Breakdown is a full sandbox mode for the main game, carefully designed to incorporate the original's strengths in scavenging and player-created character arcs.

Dec 1, 2013There’s no game like State of Decay for dropping you into a zombie apocalypse, and now there’s no survival game quite like Breakdown’s score-based challenge with its inevitable failure bearing down on you. it’s all futile, but what a grim drama you’ll unfold on the way to your demise.
