MaxwellAug 15, 2007If you don't think an FPS can have heart, well, you probably never played Jedi Knight. An engaging and lengthy single player campaign along with the at-the-time groundbreaking multiplayer: the first time gamers got to duel with lightsabers; made DF2: JK a classic. Oh, and there was that little white rabbit-thingy, too.

RobS.Sep 26, 2009This was the first FPS I ever played. I can still remember being 8 years old, figuring out what the hell I was going on, blowing away stormtroopers. Of course, Lucasarts support was better then, and trying to get the Steam version to work CORRECTLY is a nightmare. I hope Lucasarts is happy, they just lost another customer, who WILL NOT be purchasing from them ever again.

JavidP.Nov 30, 20071st game I ever purchased, and I'm glad I did. The game is great, and when you beat it, there are thousands of fan-created mods and levels to enjoy. Playing this at a lan party is always a great way to get the competition boiling.

RichK.Sep 24, 2007One of my absolute favorites. Fantastic action, story, sound, music, controls, and one of the first FPS's that had a great character development system as well. Jedi Knight is of the same ilk as other standout FPS/RPGs System Shock 2 and Deus Ex, and is probably just as enjoyable on many levels. It's a game that makes me disappointed more like it aren't being made these days.

May 19, 2013Great game! The campaign was strong and had you play often. This was the first game that had you duel with lightsabers which was a great concept. Great sound with visuals and controls. I would recommend this game!

May 28, 2016A Star Wars gaming classic. This game really moved things forward in the Star Wars PC game franchise. At this point, the graphics and game-play are a bit dated, so it can be tough for newer players to get into this one without the nostalgic sentiment that allow older players to enjoy this game, but definitely recommended for die hard Star Wars gamers.

Jul 9, 2016One of My All time favourite games. I have a lot of good memories playing this game. Its still a lot of fun to re-play this every now and then. I can't recommend this enough.

Nov 17, 2017One of the best Star Wars games ever made even with it's dated graphics. Someone needs take those new Battlefront graphics and do an HD version of this and DF1

Jun 7, 2018Amazing immersive Star Wars environment especially considering the state of game at that time. I was sucked into the game from start to finish maximizing the freedom of exploring every bit of the world. The game had everything a Star Wars fan would love (cut scenes, Star Wars themed sound track, massive world, etc.)

Apr 8, 2023I think it has a GREAT star wars atmosphere... it is pretty simple made but the imperial architecture, the sound, and the raw feeling... Makes it one of best Star Wars games for me. I hope this one time get a remake with better controls, better AI and better graphics, maybe extended levels and stuff. Anyway, with the Mod Remastered 3.0 its even better.

Aug 29, 2023To date, this is the best Star Wars game ever released. If you are a fan of the franchise, get a copy of this banger! Overall rating: 9.2.

Mar 15, 2023The multiplayer on MSN gaming zone is what made this game for me. There were so many fun mods for it.

Jedi Knight combines all the good aspects that a game should have: good graphics, interesting story, innovative game-play and superb multiplayer support. Anyone who has a good system (fast w/ a 3D accelerator) will definitely be pleased with Jedi Knight.
-
With innovative levels, a sparkling soundtrack, enhanced graphics, and near-perfect control, this is one game you won't want to pass up. Jedi Knight is easily the best game of its kind available.
-
What Jedi Knight lacks in spark, it compensates for with the oodles of money that a giant like LucasArts can throw into the development process. Add to that good environments, great music, tons of options, solid gameplay, and smooooooth net connections and I can certainly say that fans of the genre won't be disappointed.
