    I really, really despise this game. It takes Sonic 4 episode 1, a okay game, and completely ruins it. Most levels are completely automated with boost pads and springs, the music is god awful, and the overall level design just sucks. Apart from Shadow the Hedgehog and Sonic and the Secret Rings, this is the only Sonic title I have never went out of my way to complete. Episode 1 is 100xI really, really despise this game.     This game sucks...
    It's not as bad as Episode 1 but close enough... The graphics improved just a tiny bit, the bonus stage is a copy of the bonus stage in Sonic 2 which is great, but other than that... nothing else.
    Sonic and enemies are HUGE and you can see little ahead of you, gameplay is stopped often for a special move with tails.
    Does not feel like a sonic game at all..

    Worse than the flawed and disappointing episode one due to the fact the story remains unresolved and discontinued. Not worth playing.

    "Just another Sonic game" is the best description of Episode 2. A colorful, but flavorless platformer.
