    Song of Horror - Episode 5: The Horror and the Song is a good ending to the story, which as a whole game looks great. But I expected something more from this episode than all the same annoying mechanics with QTE in the closet, same monsters and traps, and an ending in the style of horror movies from the '90s. However, against the background of other indie developments in this genre, the creation from Protocol Games looks like a small masterpiece.

    With its five episodes now complete, Song of Horror’s obtuse puzzles, meandering story and frustratingly unintuitive gameplay result in an experience that’s rarely scary but often exasperating.

    Despite an unsatisfactory ending that does not tie up all the loose ends, the last episode of Song of Horror is highly engrossing with its sinister setting and puzzle implementation.
