horror theme games had a tough spot this year, this one is no exeption the whole game feels like it's tryining to imitate other games and fails to do so and the scares and voises are pathetic, to say the least

May be the game like System Shock series but in these days, we don't see games like that. So this game is nostalgic. And so my point is 10 for Solarix.

Solaris is an interesting exemple of good intentions that falls short on execution.

At times the atmosphere is quite well realised, like the 'Aliens' inspired outpost with torrential rain fall or searching a derelict space craft in a swampy marsh region. The makers of Solarix wanted to follow in the footsteps of System Shock 2 and Dead Space, but the result is just awful.

Pathetic AI and loads of bugs and flaws drag down what was a promising game. [07/2015, p.63]

Solarix could bow to the old sci-fi gaming with dignity, but due to the botched artificial intelligence, confusing level design and half-baked ideas it turned into its caricature.
