Game is really nice unless you face a thousand bugs, unplayable tasks and you can't even play from the same IP and all of these features are in 2020, unbelievable!
Other then that, the game actually is nice. Please fix bugs all these issues and it will be for sure 10/10.

I can't finish a mission if the required resource has been manually loaded into the truck. other issues include general clipping of objects, things shifting... wrong or enabling features that are not possible. would be a 9 if these issues were fixed.

UPDATE: after the update in the game, I had to reinstall mods and none of the bugs that I have seen have been fixed I FOUND MORE in the recent version. I dragged out the cat on the 2nd Alaska map to the sawmill (like instructed) and FOR **** SAKE!!! IT DID NOT DRIVE AT ALL even though it is not broken NOR OUT OF GAS when I got to the sawmill NOTHING! same with a trailer on the 1st map. 4/10, my review will continue to drop as I find more game-breaking bugs

Game is awful it has numerous bugs that have existed from launch and haven't been fixed. They claim a new game engine but it is a slightly modified version of the Vee engine as you can see a lot of the bugs that existed in early Spintires (most of which have been patched out of Spintires now). The graphics are better then mudrunner but for the road its purely a higher quality texture over the same mud so as you drive over it you see the texture stretch. Sure it has a money and a levelling up system but all these negatives drive me away from it and I just can't recommend it to anyone. If you are looking to slowly traverse extreme terrain in large trucks I can only recommend Spintires as it is less then 1/3 of the price and is a lot less buggy Expand

The worst think in this game is the control mechanism. They put a lot of afford to make a off road simulator, and didn’t think about the primary thinks, like how the gear box or differential work in specific track. Very good terrain physics but fatal control.
Very bad wheel control as well.

I will try to be honest here, i enjoy the game.
But i do have a few problems with it and the developers...:
    - Zero day (p2w) dlc adding overpowered vehicles - Because the game progression is **** up. You have to get at min rank 6 to unlock offroad tires, and you need to do tons of scouting/missions to get this rank 6. With the vehicles game allows you to get this is really super hard.

You can just fly all over the michigan maps with it (even pulling every trailers and cargo you might have to... with winch...)
    - Discovering upgrades on the map is super nice. But WTF are they level-locked? If i find it, i should be abble to install it.
    - Its camera is still a nightmare. Hopefully modders can improve it? I hope so...
    - No direct live control of some parameters that would make sense in an offroad simulation. Like, tires pressure ???
    - Dynamic weather that looks nice, and give a live feeling ingame. But has absolutely no effect on the game world. Still somewhat about the weather, some temperature impact on evironment would be so good to have... if its -40°C its all frozen, mud is solid, ponds of water turn to ice. If temperature increase, snow and ice melt, its all muddy everywhere, and all rivers/water ponds are flooded

In the end, i have fun (even if the difficulty is so badly balanced in early game. unless you buy DLC... humpf... you bastards) but the more i play, the less i feel like playing a simulation. Devs have been lazy maybe? Or they willingly made the game much more arcadish to please the crowds. Or they dont have the skills and knowledge to make it much better than what we have been offered here.

This game is far from finished.
You can go trough solo mode on your own just fine, but when you put a step in multiplayer, it's over.
There are synchronisation errors everywhere, disconnects, crashes.

Graphics are good, that's it. Even physics are broken.
It could be a great game, I hope they'll work seriously on it.

and once you finally, hours later, unlock the frame addons for it, they are about as useless as they come.
    1600L of diesel. 1 container.
pretty much nothing (truck fuel trailer = 2000L on a dolly /4000L as a full size tanker trailer)
container? same problem! so far i have not been given a job to ferry one...

yeah, when you pick that kind of game, you kinda know trucks. or at least you're a bit into them.

second, it tells you nothing about the intricacies of actually using a controller over a keyboard (MASSIVE fuel economy there) or how you have to switch right back to keyboard to use the towing feature...

Because the automatic towing feature likes to go for the worst possible anchoring point around you. (like right by your left when you're going uphill and the terrain is tilted to the left= yanks you right on your flank and bam you're stuck and your payload's on the floor, lol)

    it's also EXTREMELY BUGGY.
you will experience all the bugs present in mudrunner, with a few more, even more infuriating extras.

kudos to the devs, the second story mission i tried to take on was impossible with the trucks i had.
stat. i fixed two bridges, two avalanches, to find that my truck just could not do the job. trailer's too heavy!

    SWEET.

back 5 hours of grind later, with a better truck: eh, now at least i can reach the few paved roads of the map. sweet. reach the destination: truck sinks instantly in the mud, with the dropzone in hands reach.

(i did have to refuel halfway too, all the trucks in this game do like 700L+/100 or something)

another truck for towing and 35 mins later, i had finally dropped my trailer.

it's like that for MOST CAREER JOBS. you have to tow your truck with another truck to get anywhere.
all the jobs pay f*** all.

i would rate this in negative values if i could.

Another problematic aspect is the almost impossible beginning, where you almost can't do any mission because.... you can't buy tires adapted to the terrain. Not because of a lack of money, but only because of a lack of level.

Also, many vehicle upgrades can only be obtained by finding them on the maps.... and each region has 4 maps. If the upgrade you want is in the 4th one, bad luck, because you can't go to other maps of your region freely.

The other ridiculous thing is that despite the game being named Snowrunner, you stay in Michigan because it is totally impossible to accomplish missions on the Alaska map. The last region is Russia and is even more impossible.

But the worst of all mechanics is the fact that your vehicle will overturn. Once it happens, there's absolutely nothing you can do except go back to the garage and do all the mission steps again. The overturn of a vehicle is really unpredictable and can happen even due to a simple rock or a mud hole. It can also happen due to invisible obstacles you hit, who also can badly damage your vehicle.

At first I was really pleased to feel the freedom in this game, unfortunately too many poor design decisions, illogical level design and the feeling that "you're not allowed to do this yet because the devs don't want" let a bad game experience. In the end, I'm really deceived that this game is impossible to finish.

I give 1 single point for the graphics, even if it's way too dark - Resident Evil-like - and there's absolutely nobody no pedestrians, workers or other vehicles on the map.

Multiplayer, I don't like it, here is the problem, I don't want people in affecting my single player part of the game, this needs addressed as a separate part of the game, meaning make it so it stands alone, maybe this can be accomplished with mods. Speaking of MODS, what they are doing with paying the modders is outstanding, taken right from the makers of ARK, awesome job, don't reinvent the wheel. Someone at Saber is one smart cookie, awesome job. I'm also so happy I went with the season pass, if the base game is anything to go off of the DLC is gonna be awesome!!! It's so fun to drive in such harsh conditions, in mud and snow, it's pretty challenging even without a hard mode that some people requested. There is a lot of content, you will have many many tens of hours to spend in this game. Interiors are looking nice, very good and detailed design. There are multiple upgrades that you can put on your truck, upgrades that affect a lot the gameplay and the way your truck acts in the wild. I would recommend this to everyone who like games like Euro Truck Simulator, but offroad. The map is very big and there will still be some new maps coming in the next months. I'm playing with a gamepad, the controls are not hard to get used to and are pretty well done.

For the guy that gave a 0 because of wheels support: they said they delayed testing of wheels because of COVID-19 and work for home so that's why it does not fully support wheels (some are working) and doesn't have force feedback on them at the moment. They said they will update/fix this as soon as possible.

For the guy with Epic Games: no comment. This has nothing to do with the game, just grow up and accept that there can be multiple launchers on the market. The launcher doesn't affect in any way your experience with the game.

Absolutely broken upon release, you may be able to make some progress in single player, but if you look at the bug reports in their discord, it is horrendous - especially on console. Please don't give them any more money. Releasing a game in this state is a cash grab and cannot be incentivized.

    Hello everyone!
First of all, I want to note that I am a fan of the "series" (I mean spintires and mudrunner) and have been waiting for this game for a long time.
The game is now filled with interesting maps, tons of content and interesting research.
    Pleased with the quests.
I want to note two main drawbacks, the first of which is systemic:
    1) I think that in 2020 to play in a cooperative so that progress went only for the HOST - inappropriately spent time. This is expressed in small and dirty inconveniences in the gameplay, for example:
    a) the guest cannot use the evacuation on cars allocated for him by the host.
    b) the guest cannot engage in tuning of equipment and generally get into the garage
    c) the guest is not able to sell the equipment found on the map and, accordingly, has a huge lag in money from HOST.
All these little things could be countered by giving players the opportunity to specify when combining a game session, combine progress or leave it only for the HOST, as done now.
    2) BUGZ. Urgently need to eliminate bugs that block the development of story quests.
I suggest introducing a boot system with separate save games at least. And the ability to adequately restart quests.
One of the most unpleasant bugs at the moment is when completing the quest “Lost Container”. An incredible number of containers (pallets) with quest cargo appear on the map near the warehouse, which fly out into space at the entrance, like an endless accordion. And after that there is a total hang of the game client + now I can’t leave this place. Everything, 15+ hours of play in vain - to start over.

I hope my review was constructive and the developers will polish the product.

SnowRunner is an exemplary sequel in which the variety of content has increased several times compared to the previous game. There are a lot of new features, and the scale, content and number of maps have increased significantly. But most importantly, the gameplay has become more interesting. Setting up infrastructure in atmospheric locations is more exciting than just hauling logs. At the same time, the deep physical model is still as detailed as before, which will please hardcore fans of the genre. So if you are one of them, then it is definitely worth playing.
