    Fantastic and nearly perfect game.

    Other AAA titles like GOW, COD, Horizon, etc, get more attention because they got the Hollywood pizazz, but I'm hard pressed to play more than a few hours of any of those types of games. SE4, on the other hand, I regularly play, well over 300 hours at this point. I play the same missions and surivival maps over and over, and it just doesn't get old.    Fantastic and nearly perfect game.

    Other AAA titles like GOW, COD, Horizon, etc, get more attention because they got the Hollywood pizazz, but I'm hard pressed to play more than a few hours of any of those types of games. SE4, on the other hand, I regularly play, well over 300 hours at this point. I play the same missions and surivival maps over and over, and it just doesn't get old.

    Why?

    Because it's a game. Just a game. There's no stupid characters to say dumb, trite crap to make me feel embarrassed for playing. There's no cutscenes. No idiotic story, cringey dialogue. No boring slogs of walking between spurts of dull gameplay.

    SE4 is an action game that engages you just the right amount and constantly delivers satisfaction. Every kill shot feels great, gameplay is always tense and exciting. The difficulty is perfectly balanced. I've been trying for years to finish some of the survival maps on Authentic Plus solo and still can't quite get there, but it just doesn't get old.

    I do not agree with poor ratings. Of course, the graphics is not the main thing in the game, but I still want to mention that in this game it is on the very high level and beautiful. All visual work of the game is made good. And has a great sound work.

    I've played SE2 and SE3 before this, 4 is my favorite by far. The setting is beautiful and atmospheric and the stealth and action are really compelling, like I don't want to stop playing the game. I'm on my second play through of the game now. The first time I played with less stealth and more action and this time I'm creeping around. It's still a blast. Love this game. Note - I only playI've played SE2 and SE3 before this, 4 is my favorite by far. The setting is beautiful and atmospheric and the stealth and action are really compelling, like I don't want to stop playing the game. I'm on my second play through of the game now.     The X-ray are even more awesome this time.The map is bigger and offers more options for players.

    Sniper Elite 4 feels much more streamlined than 3 - but i cannot really pin it down.     What begins very good though - reveals some flaws a little later (for me - about after mission 4). I started to realize that the game suffers GREATLY from a VERY predictable AI. Even on the HIGHEST AI setting - the enemies tend to act utterly suicidal and do not pose a serious threat to the sniper - unless they come in very large groups.
    Things change a little later - when the enemy starts to appear in more difficult classes - but especially the enemy snipers with their "hard to miss" scope glare (not to mention the alarm siren when they focus on you) are made a "little" too easy.
    All in all - the enemy does not seem to work well as a team, runs around in an erratic manner and easily gets shot down one by one.

    I cannot comment on how accurate the rifle physics are - i can only presume they are alright - although ironically - i do not use the rifle much at all. - i use it to "pull" a group, get to a chokepoint and kill the enemy behind corners with the sidearm or melee.

    Good game. Story could have been deeper, but it's not bad. The AI is impressive actually for a shooter. There are several difficulty levels and the more you increase the difficulty, closer you get to a real sniping experience. Ballistics take gravity, muzzle velocity and wind into account, cover and sound dynamics are also great. If you like sniping concept, this game is for you.

    SE4 with all DLC's for £30 seems to be one of my best investments in a while. I've had it for 2½ days, and are up in 33 hours played already.     I mainly bought it (2 copies) so me an a mate could play it Coop, but then both he and me have to look like the dull idiot 'Karl' Exactly the same!?

    How can they mess up a small detail, that does sooo much for online gaming, visible customization!?
    Sure it might be a small thing, but extremely important to me.

    The X-ray cinematics can get boring after a while, but at least you can turn it off.

    This game was huge let down to be honest. In my opinion, developers made big mistake making this game open map. It should have stayed linear as it was V2 and SE3. Now all missions are the same - couple main objectives and couple side objectives. You are thrown in open map (not very big however) and start completing those boring objectives. EVERY MISSION IN THE SAME. After 2nd/3rd missionThis game was huge let down to be honest. In my opinion, developers made big mistake making this game open map. Personally, I even downloaded a trainer to finish last two missions only because it was enough for me of this game but I wanted to see how the story ends.

    Story also was crap, very weak, uninteresting characters and very limited actions during gameplay. It's just not worth your time or your money. Graphics are bad too (comparing with other 2016-2017 AAA games). I played at 1080p max settings and it was 'meh'.

    So in conclusion - boring gameplay, boring missions, bad story, poor graphics.

    I really want to fall in love in this series from the begining. If you are the one who like rambo style game maybe this game for you.     The cons side of this game is : ai is kinda stupid and lazy, stealth is almost non existent and unrealistic. AI enemy can spot you hundreds meter away but cant detect you 5 meters from him...what a disastrous. How about story and missions? : yeah its Boring and repetitive. Background story : why not changing the theme from US sniper killing germans to Russian Sniper vs Ger? US Sniper vs Jap? or Ger Sniper vs US? Again and again gaming industry do not dare to change point of view to neutral side. We dont care who to win in political matter.

    If you liked sniper elite 3, you'll probably like sniper elite 4. Its basically the same game. For those new to sniper elite its basically about sneaking around and killing targets before they know what hit them. Stealth action, not run and gun. If you're getting shot at much you probably did something wrong.     An enjoyable experience that could be improved with some changes. AI is not too strong and climbing walls and objects could be improved. But yea i liked it.

    Sniper Elite 4 is essentially a stealth / shooting game. It requires a lot of patience, skill and imagination to infiltrate and complete missions like a professional. On less manly settings you could get away with shooting your way through barely, but not on skilled difficulty settings, you will be killed easily if you're caught in a gun fight.

    The game areas are now much larger so tagging enemies for environmental information becomes very important for perfect stealth. You will have to study enemy movements precisely, finding ways to exploit the environment to your advantage. Such as masking your rifle shots, causing explosions, making objects fall, taking out commanders for detailed enemy positions and getting those all important kill cam shots.

    For sniper fans there is a lot of custom options to make shooting as skilled as you want it to be. From bullet drop, wind adjustment and different loadouts. I think Sniper Elite fans will be very happy with this new adventure, if you have never played and like stealth games you should really consider getting this.

Biggest differences from Sniper Elite 3 are bigger maps, x-ray melee kills and the inclusion of surpressed ammo so to not make your rifle utterly useless when you want a stealthy approach and no soundmasking is available.

    Otherwise it's more of the same. Lots of different opportunities and approaches to your objectives and scalable difficulty and "realism" when it comes to ballistics. From casual call of duty where you aim you hit regardless of distance, to wind, range and gravity beeing massive factors to where your hit lands. Ai can be customised to oblivious morons to psychic relentless machines.
    At the time of this review there are 8 missions + one dlc mission wich you get for free if you preordered the game, each taking about 1-1.5h on Veteran difficulty if you only do the main objectives. 2-3h if you do all objectives. Replayability comes in the form of collectibles, trying different approaches and challenges.
    As of writing this review I have spent about 33h on this game across 9 missions and some survival gameplay and I don't feel I'm done with it yet. I intend to take on some missions on harder difficulties.
    To me the fun factor comes in the gameplay and not the story. The story is as generic as any COD game.
    My old trusted rig i7 4770K, Titan Black with 16GB ram running win 10, ran this game flawelessly at maxed out 1080p with no drops under 60fps. No crashes, no hickups.

    Great campaign however the online portion has already been infiltrated by the same hacks and cheats as SE3 if your buying for online play don't! The same cheating characters from Bracsil have already ruined it

    Another problem I have in this "Sniper" game is that most missions revolve around you sneaking around and killing people with your silenced pistol.
    God forbid you snipe someone, if you do the whole map will converge on you and constantly respawn    Love sniper elite 2 and 3 but this is almost replica of sniper elite 2,3. The blood is bright red for some reason and kills the realism for me.

    Large maps and a diverse layout let me choose my own sniping locations as I move throughout many well done 3D environments. The view is from an over the shoulder perspective, which you can switch to either Righty or Southpaw. The views offer awsome X-Ray kill-cam shots from over my right shoulder.

    I am a one man army (or coop with a friend) agains an army!
    I choose when to retreat or pull out my badazz smg and lay down lead! I then search bodies and find ammo, bandages, collectibles, etc. Game auto saves my play and calls it my check point, when I die starts me right where I left off.
    I can spot enemies, vehicles, key vehicle kill points, and many items that will explode, etc.
    The game has one of the best controller smg recoils and fire timing I have used in a game!
    The AI are very interactive in chasing me down, I can set up boobie traps for them....boobies.
    The game does have some rare moments of climbing, jumping and exploration; lots of punching, stabbing and shooting and also a fantastic sniping experience. I did find bugs, bugs are nasty, bugs get stepped on and die...real quick ~ expecially with updates. It is nice of developers to make a game I can play not a game that plays me!    … Expand

    These missions last anywhere from 20 minutes up to an hour depending on how you play and if you choose to ignore the optional stuff..
    It took me around 7 an a half hours to get to the credits…
    There are various difficulty settings here that not only effect the damage enemies do, but also affect how sniping works.. so for those 360 no scope pros, sniper elite will give you a great challenge as you calculate drops and wind…
    I’m not one of those people…
    You have the option to find a vantage point, pull out your binoculars, mark your targets and pick them off..
    But with too much noise they’ll be able to triangulate your position, so it’s important to move...
    sneaking through the shadows and bushes…
    calculating and planning every move…
    sneaking up behind enemies and stealth killing them
    Holding your breath, lining up the shots for a slow mo x ray vision kill
    Or you can play like I did and throw all caution to the wind…
    Sniping people without a care who hears or sees you… pulling out your assault rifle if too many enemies surround you...
    loot their bodies for more ammo, medkits, and grenades... swap weapons…
    just having a blast destroying enemies on these maps and completing objectives
    My favorite part about this game is that it doesn’t punish you if youre not about that sniper life..
    You can play this game any and every way you want...
    And the maps change up enough to keep the game feeling fresh... it never drags out…
    the overall campaign though feels like its lacking a bit of knowledge...
    the story feels like no effort was put into it... and the most interesting possible target for a world war 2 game, adolf hitler, was reserved for pre orderers.. So if you’re a smart gamer and actually wait for reviews... you don’t get the only target whos even a little interesting…
    Its going to run you about $10 in the playstation store, so I highly recommend you make a statement by waiting for a sale before you pick up sniper elite 4 and its dlc…
    This is a really fun campaign, but this greed level from the publisher is too high.
    There isn’t just single player here though...
    You can also play co-op in the story, survival mode, or scout and sniper mode... as well as play competitive modes online...
    These modes are about as fun as youd think a bunch of snipers running around a large map trying to snipe eachother could be..
    High paced and full of action... just kidding... nothing happens... hardly anyone plays... waste of the developers time…
    Sniper Elite 4 isnt a shooter oyu buy to play online.. This game shines in its open sandbox styled missions

    Sniper Elite 4 has a vast of number of improvements since the Sniper Elite v2 regarding its new design, ambition and short-story cut-scene. If you loved Sniper Elite v2 and similar games, this game would truly blow you away in all aspect especially fun to coop game with your friends.

    With this latest patch I cannot even load the game.Let alone start it.My pc is a beast happly play other games after that 16mb patch every time I load up SE4 it blue screens my computer..
    Have written to support nothing.
    VErify files done that
    reinstalled done that.
    updated drivers done that.
    Pretty piss poor effort on there behalf

    4 definitely expands and improves over 3 in several ways. But for some reason the graphics make it look much worse than 3! The game is running great on Ultra, the pc can certainly handle it, but a lot of textures are low-res and blurry. Quite disappointed in the graphics quality of 4!

SN4 has added more new elements like Tomb Raider's climbing techniques, but still lacks the grapple hooks and flying and driving elements from Far Cry 4 and lack of dogs and critters from GTA V and Far Cry Primal. It's such a waste to download this game through 600 kbps transfer speed. Why can't they put this game's installer in a 64GB orI've played SN2 and SN3, then I played this SN4. Buyer can empty out the game content and resell the SSD or USB flash stick. User must register the game through STEAM in the end of course. Damn! Fixing the copper wires at home cost between NZD $125 to $350, god knows what's wrong with it. The best part of this game is that it has 'render scale' that allows adjusting the screen percentage like what the other older game UT3 has to offer. On this rig it can run at mid-high game settings on most of the maps and missions: Windows 7 64-bit, Phenom 965 overclocked to 3.7Ghz, both HT Links and bus set at 2200Mhz, 8GB RAM, GTX 670, 256GB SSD with very big size set for virtual page files, the render scale was set at between 80 to 95% by a screen resolution of 1920x1080, and with CLEAR VISION set to weak or medium it sure look more like bump mapping set to high, and it has the great variable options of setting AF of 2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9/10/11/12 or 14 than just 4/8/16. It's all God based. It's sad that these guys are cappable to make better Windows but instead they choose to make games.
    Ups: Bigger maps. More enhanced weapon and ballistic handlings. Good PC hardware supports.
    Downs: Not enough missions and maps. No fiction events and maps - no fiction game mode. AI skill are goofs at some parts.    … Expand

    Would be a totally awesome game if it wouldn't kill itself every 30 minutes.
    Every 30 minutes or so it just vanishes. No error, no crash. Just 'poof' and it's gone.

    Estamos ante un juego bastante correcto gráficamente pero que requiere buena gráfica en resoluciones superiores a 1080p. Con una gtx 980 en 1440p y filtros optimizados según nvidia lo mueve a 60fps pero cuando te ocultas entre la vegetación baja drásticamnete a 30fps.

Empecé el juego en el más complicado y si bien mueres a menudo y es bastante exigente, es asequible jugando con cabeza y mucha paciencia. Lo malo de este nivel es que no cuentas con minimapa, ni con indicadores de objetivo ni, lógicamnete, ayuda al apuntado, por lo que hay que ser muy pro para atreverse a disparos de más de 100m pues hay que tener en cuanta unos factores a la hora de apuntar, ni tampoco marcado de enemigos a través de los prismáticos. Después de dos misiones completadas, decidí bajarlo al nivel inmediatamente anterior y todo esto que comento ya aparece. Sigue siendo exigente y mueres a poco que te confíes pero, bajo mi punto de vista, se hace más disfrutable. Si lo juegas en difícil, recomiendo quitar rayos x porque el minimapa ya indica los enemigos que hay en esa zona sin necesidad de haberlos marcado.

    La campaña está formada por varias misiones con sus objetivos principales y secundarios, que nos habrán dado los personajes con los que debemos charlar antes de iniciarlas. Aconsejo completar los secundarios antes, porque si vas a ir a saco a por los primeros, la misión finilizará. La verdad es que éstas, sin ser excesivamente numerosas, sí que pueden durar bastante, siendo raro que bajen de una hora si te detienes a completar objetivos, coleccionables, registrar a los cadáveres para recuperar munición, muertes sufridas y dependiendo de la dificultad y la paciencia que tengas para ir matando sin que te detecten. En cierto modo, las mecánicas se repiten en todas las misiones, con riesgo de resultar repetitivo. Lo cierto es que hay un algo que te hace disfrutar y que la experiencia jugable sea altamente satisfactoria.

    Contamos con el entorno para poder eliminar a los enemigos. En algunas misiones aprovecharemos el estar cerca de grandes cañones que al disparar ocultan el ruido de nuestro rifle (el modo ejecución es salvaje y espectacular, ver cómo destrozamos el órgano del nazi de turno es acojon****). En otros escenarios podremos manipular artefactos que provoquen ruido regularmente con el mismo objetivo (dichos artefactos podemos localizarlos a distancia con los prismáticos y marcarlos). A pesar de todo ello, no es ni mucho menos un paseo militar. No siempre contaremos con la posibilidad de camuflar el ruido o de tener munición silenciosa para el rifle, por lo que deberemos jugar con las coberturas y la maleza, así como hacer uso de los prismáticos para marcar a nuestros enemigos y ver sus pautas de vigilancia. Con esto, podremos ir acercándonos en modo sigilo y matarlos con la pistola con silenciador. Pero claro, o estamos muy cerca de ellos y disparamos a la cabeza si no tienen casco o entre la cara y el cuello si lo tienen, o necesitaremos varios tiros y como tardemos mucho en recargar o fallemos alguno, el enemigo dará la voz de alerta y vendran a por nosotros. En este punto, podemos ir a saco con el francotirador o en modo rambo y dar uso a la ametralladora o incluso seguir jugando con las coberturas y matarlos con la pistola con silenciador ya que, si lo hacemos bien, es posible que la alarma desaparezca si conseguimos no ser vistos. Francamente, es bastante satisfactoria la experiencia de eliminar a los rivales en modo francotirador camuflando el sonido o con la pistola ya que ése es el objeto del juego, aunque el modo rambo puede tener su punto llegado el caso.

    La IA es algo variable. Me explico. Hay misiones o lugares concretos dentro de éstas en las cuales, al dar la alarma la CPU, se comporta bastante bien y muy competente, al punto que ves en el minimapa que pretende envolverte para atacarte desde distintos flancos o por retaguardia moviéndose constantemente entre coberturas. Pero en otros casos, sin ser mala, puede llegar a ser un poco simplona. Otro aspecto negativo es que el ángulo de visión del enemigo puede llegar a ser bastante bajo: a pesar de la alarma general, con poco que vayas agachado, el enemigo no te detecta cuando se cruza contigo a la carrera y tú estás pegado a la pared o tras la puerta. Ocurre, lógicamente, dentro de edificios o búnkeres.

    El juego va perfecto sin observar errores, fallos, bugs, glitches... pero en el último tercio he visto algunos soldados (pocos) tratando de caminar a través de paredes o vallas o se fundían con elementos del escenario, cosa que te saca de la experiencia.

    Otra pega. El juego permite cambiar el aspecto y hacer mejoras en armas y en el personaje. La profundidad en este campo es bastante escasita y lo cierto es que no notas mucho la diferencia.    … Expand

    Great game! Lost a couple of points as I find the campaign was a bit short and there are a few glitches that could do with fixing. But other than that, really enjoyed it.

    The AI is so unrealistic, you'll get detected by literally anything even in the easy difficulty. I didn't like it back then but decided to give it another try after finishing SE5 and it really is worse in every single aspect.

    Sniper Elite 4 is simply a very, very good third person shooter, on which I spend a lot of time with great pleasure. Compared to other TPS, the game's arguments are:
    - the killcam. It is a great idea to make you feel (and enjoy sadistically) each and every sniper shot. I can't think of a better way to feel the impact of a bullet.
    - an excellent level design, with huge maps offering    Sniper Elite 4 is simply a very, very good third person shooter, on which I spend a lot of time with great pleasure. Compared to other TPS, the game's arguments are:
    - the killcam. It is a great idea to make you feel (and enjoy sadistically) each and every sniper shot. I can't think of a better way to feel the impact of a bullet.
    - an excellent level design, with huge maps offering wonderful landscapes but also a LOT of different possibilites to advance through the levels and complete the objectives.
    - speaking of possibilities, there is almost always the choice to be sneaky or loud.
    - the difficulty modes authentic and authentic plus, that wipe most of the game interface and challenge you to go through the levels with the same level of information a "real" sniper has: no information about enemy status, no expected bullet impact point. You have to know your weapon.

    If I should give negative points there would be two small ones:
    - the levels are so big that it is a nightmare for completists to find all documents and all eagles. After 37 hours, I'm just halfway through the game because I've spent my time running after these...
    - the objectives are a little bit stereotyped: kill Mr X, destroy armory Y, find information Z... Nothing really annoying but don't expect to have to do exotic things ever.

The camera is terrible when you are not crouched and running. The same set of animations, the same stupid cameras, same bullet cams, the same level design, the same stupid "one sniper saving the world" themes.

Each piece of this game's world is set in massive sandboxes with overwhelming potential to choose how, when, and where you're going to take out any of the many designer designated or self-chosen targets. There are explosives to utilize from your loadout inventory or fixed into the game’s world, weights to drop on targeted heads, and even myriads of structures to destroy. It's not perfect, however: melee stealth kills are replaced with ones that provoke surrounding soldiers' to investigate the area which means you're forced to use an overpowered silenced pistol, running in opposition to the game's very title that focuses on the SNIPER rifle. The story is only serviceable and hosts a main character with a cartoonishly deep vox and serious demeanor that makes for a protagonist paradoxically impossible to take seriously, not that it bothered me, who finds his exaggerated voice amusing in an unintentional way. On the plus side; the atmosphere does its job stupendously to offset those absurdities. The score has grandiose tracks that offer repose from the tensity of the gameplay, the gameplay itself is accompanied by a more subtle affair that lets you appreciate the quietness of stealth before one is caught. It feels good to be hidden, but better to manage to evade a suspicious guard when their finding you feels tantamount to a heart implosion. And, finally, as always, slow motion kills from your rifle feel as visceral and impactful as ever. A few misfires aside, there's so much more to love about this game than to hate, I enjoyed many hours of this M91-castration simulator and any self respecting stealth fan will too.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Sniper Elite 4 gerçekten güzel bir oyun ama bazı sorunları var. Önce iyi yönlerinden başlayayım.
    1.Sniper Elite 4 türünde nişancılık ve gizlilik ögelerini içeren piyasada çok fazla oyun yok. Bu sayede kendi türünde tekdir denebilir.
    2. Oyunun oynanış tarafından bakarsak iyi fakat yapay zeka biraz hantal kalıyor. Ben yeni bir oyuncu sayılırım bu yüzden oyunu kolay zorluk seviyesinde oynamaya başladım. Tüm oyuncular gibi başlarda birkaç defa takıldım ancak 2. ve 3. bölümlerde oyun çok kolay gelmeye başladı ve bende herkesin yapacağı gibi zorluğu arttırdım ama bu sefer de çok fazla Nazi askerine karşı savaşmak zor geldi. Ve bir gizlilik oyunu değil de Battlefield ya da Call of Duty gibi bir tarih-fps oyunu oynar gibi hissettirdi (her ne kadar oyun birinci şahıs olmasa da). Bende normal zorluk seviyesinde oyuna baştan başladım.
    3. Oyunun hikâyesi bana kalitesiz geldi çünkü ne karakterlerin hikâyesi ne bi olay örgüsü hiçbir şey doğru dürüst yok. Ara sahnelerde sadece yapmamız gereken görevlerle ilgili bilgi veriyor. Eğer oyunun bütün hikayesi son bölüm olan Allagra Fortress kadar iyi olsaydı bu oyun 9-10 arası bir puan alırdı. En başta söylediğim gibi bu bir hikâye oyunu değil ancak gene de hikâyeyi bu kadar salmamaları lazımdı.
    4. Oyun Sniper oyunu gibi geldi mi? Oyunun çoğu bölümlerinde oyunda gerçekten Sniper gibi hissettim ancak bazı bölümlerde taktiksellikten yoksun olarak sadece ikincil silah ile oynayıp iki üstteki maddede söylediğim gibi sanki BF ya da CoD oynarmış gibi hissettiriyordu. İlk bölüme kötü demiyorum hatta ilk bölümün başı öğreticilik anlamında çok iyiydi ancak The Villa’ya girdiğimizden itibaren oyun tamamen fps’e döndü. Ama yanlış düşünüyor da olabilirim sonuçta bu ilk bölüm ve bu ilk bölüm bize oyunun her yanını gösterebildiği kadar göstermeli ve bu oyunun bir de kombat tarafı var yani gizlilikten çıkıp çatışmaya girdiğimiz zaman ve ilk bölümde bize bu kombat tarafını da göstermeye çalışıyor olabilir.

You can also ghost the German Army, accomplish every objective, and never be detected, killing only the minimum enemies to avoid detection. And you can go gun's blazing and create chaos.

    It is very similar to the Hitman trilogy Sandbox, and yet very different too. Some aspects could be improved, the graphics are good but in some parts, I can't tell if it's draw distance or lacks landscape details, but something looks plain and dated here, some textures like the Nazi's uniforms and trucks look amazing but some world textures look plain and unpolished. The weapon variety and customization are welcome, but also fails to deliver, as many rifles feel and shoot the same.

    Despite its shortcomings, Sniper Elite Italy is an amazing experience for me. I would like a plot with more complex, deep characters and some storytelling elements. I guess the plot is an excuse to blow the brains of several Nazi officers and sabotage their evil plans once again, and that works for me too as the gameplay, ghost mechanics and sniping are awesome fun! There is a unique feel when you leave the area of operations after completing every objective without being noticed, you feel powerful as you ghost the German war machine over and over.    … Expand

    The game has full co-op. You can play through the whole campaign + DLC missions with your friend. Great stealth gameplay. Missions are quite interesting and it is never getting bored to kill the nazists. Also, the game has coop interaction like soundmask with grenade or simultaneously double kill etc. Funny X-Ray. And satisfying competitive multiplayer with even 8 different game modes.The game has full co-op. You can play through the whole campaign + DLC missions with your friend. Great stealth gameplay. А на этот раз вроде бы миссии не коридорные и можно выбрать куда пойти и что сделать первым, а что оставить или даже не делать.     You cannot go wrong with any of the Sniper Elite games and also the Nazi Zombie Army Trilogy. My only complaint is I wish they were longer because I want to keep playing more. I highly recommend playing Sniper Elite 2 first. Then the Nazi Zombie Army Trilogy. Then, 3 and 4.

    I have no idea where the claims of excellent AI are coming from, because it's a gigantic step down, even on the highest difficulty. Enemies are less accurate, more predictable, and less capable of taking cover. They will often take cover behind things which give them a massive disadvantage and expose most of their body, and then, if you're too slow at picking them off, slowly charge you one by one.

    To give a key example of how bad the new AI is, it does not even look upwards when searching for you. In addition, the stealth system and detection systems have also been dumbed down. Enemies have shorter sight ranges and less capability to maneuver around the player. Many situations which lead to me being surrounded and killed in 3 were not even recognized by the AI in 4.

    It's badly designed, the "large" maps are superficial at best, and the enemies suck. It's bad. Don't buy it.    … Expand

    My first Sniper Elite Game and i liked it really. Played it in coop, wich works completly fine! I kinda the point where you can get really addicted and grind for something. But, its still a great game!

    Remove sniper rifle with x-ray and it's a 0/10
    Bad mouvements and maps are not that good u feel lost and not knowing what objective to do first

    Great Game, Not For Me

    Third Person Stealth games, or stealth games in general have always been some of my favourite genres in video games and by all intents and purposes, I should've really enjoyed Sniper Elite 5 but for some reason I never had that itch to keep playing it.     Sniper Elite 5 is a game where you assume the role of Karl Fairburne, an American-German Sniper on the side of the allies who helps turn the tide of the war in France 1944 through the games own inner plot set around the events of the historical D-Day.

    The gameplay is what you'd expect, sneak around, line up your shots, hide bodies and collect intel. You are truly a commando in every sense of the word.

    One of the best aspects of the game are the level design and missions. The maps are not massive but they're not small either, they are packed with things to do and each level feels meticulously crafted by the developers to an astonishing level. Although you have your main objective every mission there are an abundance of side missions as well as a few different difficulties, I imagine the replayability of this game is great and you could definitely get your moneys worth.
    There are 9 missions in total and each can take between 60 and 150 minutes to complete. Definitely bang for your buck.

    There are multiple ways you can complete each mission, sometimes its just blowing something up, sometimes its breaking a production line, there are several ways to do things as well as multiple enemy types and loadouts that can suit your playstyle.

    If I'm being honest with myself, I genuinely don't know why I didn't enjoy this game. I was the same with SE2 and SE4. For me something just feels off and I would like to make a disclaimer that it is just the way I personally feel about the game. I just never clicked with it. I felt no urge to hit launch and when I was playing it I wasn't getting any enjoyment out of it. It felt like a chore just so I could get a review out and be done with it.

    I got halfway through mission 6 before I said to myself. "I'm just not enjoying this and I don't know why." I genuinely don't. The game ticks every single last box but I guess I can just say that I'm not in the mood for this game right now, that's the only thing I can think of.

    I will come back to this game when I'm in the mood for it and see if I can complete it.    … Expand

    Sniper Elite 4 is one of those games that has something for everyone. Being a borderline recluse, I was attracted to the idea of playing as a lone wolf, but the multiplayer co-op Overwatch game was even better!

    The series has barely evolved since Sniper Elite 2 – it got stuck in World War II and one gameplay blueprint. Even the visuals are outdated. Moreover I simply can’t take Karl Fairburne’s exploits seriously as he singlehandedly clears whole villages full of Nazis, takes on tanks and for the third time shoots Hitler in the nuts in the DLC.
