    Small Radios Big Televisions isn’t the type of two-hour indie experience that’s going to blow your mind, but there’s something oddly relaxing and engrossing about navigating through its creepy factories. Despite its story falling short as a whole, there’s enough context given here to create the foundation for a special experience, but it doesn’t quite cross the finish line. It’s a pretty, atmospheric title that doesn’t shy away from how truly weird it is.

    It’s a game which you’ll enjoy clicking around in for a few hours, although when it comes to the story, you might be left with more questions than answers. You won’t get much satisfaction from solving the puzzles, but the look and general feel of the game might be worth your attention, particularly if you’re a fan of surrealism. It’s certainly not for everyone, but there is certainly an audience out there for Small Radios Big Televisions.

    Small Radios Big Televisions is a thoroughly exuberant experience. The gorgeous, very analog soundtrack coupled with stimulating visuals that change dynamically create interesting worlds the player wants to explore more of. The ideas and thoughts this title instigates helps spark new discussions and views to contemplate and reflect among friends. Sadly, lackluster gameplay and a very brief completion time work against the narrative, quickly leaving you to ruminate on your own.

    I spent most of my very short time with this game walking from one room to another and exploring new areas. The atmosphere is very engaging but the lack of interesting puzzles and a confusing story prevents SRBT from reaching its potential.

    This is a nice little piece of puzzle art.

    You are 'investigating' some abandoned facilites to find out, what happend to the population of earth (?). Your goal is to find several audio tapes through the more or less maze-like factories. These tapes then give you access to a small retro VR-world showcase, where you have to find gems. These you use to progress further. That's all.    … Full Review »
