    teknik anlamda yetersiz bir GTA klonu oyun ama oynarken çok eğlendim. Batman tarzı yakın dövüş mekanikleri ve yaratabileceğin vahşilik harikaydı.

    Advantages:
    - Amazing story (if you have ever watched "The Departed", it's from that opera). The characters are well developed and you care about them.
    - Very cool hand-to-hand combat system, has combo progression and very well animated. - Good graphics, especially for the game which was released in 2012 and remastered in 2014. - Cool driving mechanics, was very pleased to complete all    Advantages:

    - Interesting police investigation side missions.

    Disadvantages:
    - Story is good but linear (you have no choices to make), so re-play-ability is not a thing.
    - Has bugs from time to time, like NPCs clipping through walls. Had to reload from control point 2 times, because the guy I was supposed to chase didn't want to move further.

    It's not a bad game. It had potential but kind of wasted it.

    Pros.:
    - Digital Hong Kong.
    - Some good characters.
    - Details to local languages and environment.
    - Nice music.

    Cons.:
    - Story is too simple.
    - Irrational characters.

    Für das Erscheinungsjahr echt ein herausragendes Spiel, aber auch jetzt noch!

    Das war eins meiner ersten 5 Spiele und wegen Call of Duty und Borderlands ist ein Singleplayerspiel damals in Vergessenheit geraten. Ich wusste es in der heutigen Zeit aber echt zu schätzen, ein wirklich unkompliziertes und bugfreies Spiel genießen zu können.

    Even after almost 11 years later this game is still incredible. Its GTA with martial arts and it executes it very well. However the controls on pc do seem a bit sloppy compared to controller versions on ps3 and 360. Its not perfect up to todays standards but its still a damn good video game.

    If you want a Chinese style GTA like experience, this is the game for you. Set in Hong Kong, you play as an undercover cop and fight crime. The game is very well designed and is quite interactable. I was surprised with Sleeping Dogs to be honest as I hadn't expected it to be this good. Unlike GTA however there are less guns and more punching and kicking which is a lot of fun.

Sou um grande fã de GTA, mas também sou um grande fã dos concorrentes, jogos como Saints Row e até Watch_Dogs, podem não ser perfeitos e nem ter a mesma qualidade, mas são divertidos. Já esse aqui é absurdo, Sleeping Dogs pega coisas incríveis de vários jogos e acrescenta uma jogabilidade de luta excepcional, a luta desse jogo é tão boa que faz vocêUma surpresa extremamente positiva! Sou um grande fã de GTA, mas também sou um grande fã dos concorrentes, jogos como Saints Row e até Watch_Dogs, podem não ser perfeitos e nem ter a mesma qualidade, mas são divertidos. Já esse aqui é absurdo, Sleeping Dogs pega coisas incríveis de vários jogos e acrescenta uma jogabilidade de luta excepcional, a luta desse jogo é tão boa que faz você querer abandonar armas de fogo, junto a isso a mecânica de hackers, a pegada de ser policial e bandido, um toque de parkour, um enredo bem feito e colecionáveis com proposito, dando vontade de correr atrás deles, esse jogo tinha tudo para ser até melhor que o GTA. Infelizmente o ponto negativo é a falta da mecânica de salto, meio parecido com o Watch_Dogs, você precisa correr e apertar o comando para ele fazer um salto pré programado, o que buga o jogo e até irrita, também notei comandos com atraso, o que quebra a imersão da luta. Wei Shen é um ótimo protagonista e esse jogo merece uma segunda chance!… Expand

    favourite game ever. elevates anything previous city crime-based open world game has already done, amazing combat. some of the most fun i’ve ever heard witj side content and collectibles. such a great story etc idk what there is to hate, recommend to anybody really, a great starting point for any gamer and still criminally underrated despite the light being shined on it in recently

Данное творение для меня стало разочарованием именно в плане сюжета, а именно - из-за его клишированности.     Driving is great, shooting is great, fighting is great. It's got a bit of an arcade feel to it, but personally I am a fan of that. Especially since this is a super easy game to pick up and play in chunks at a time instead of one playthrough, I think. Pretty high replay value, and I love the entire setting and story.

    Absolutely worth the money. The storyline will keep you interested, and the game play is fun. I highly recommend it and you can get it for cheap on Steam. If you get it during a sale, it is well worth the money. It sure beats going to the movies nowadays.

    I played Sleeping Dogs for the first time when I randomly saw it in my steam library and said "Well I'm bored and this can't be that good so I'll just play it for a bit". When I went into Sleeping Dogs I expected almost nothing and was pleasantly surprised. While it isn't exactly revolutionary in its idea or concept, and its story isn't revolutionary either, but this in no way means theI played Sleeping Dogs for the first time when I randomly saw it in my steam library and said "Well I'm bored and this can't be that good so I'll just play it for a bit". When I went into Sleeping Dogs I expected almost nothing and was pleasantly surprised. While it isn't exactly revolutionary in its idea or concept, and its story isn't revolutionary either, but this in no way means the game was unenjoyable. I believe it mixes combat and open-world well enough to create something that is different enough to not be considered a GTA clone. The story is interesting but nothing to really gush about, the driving is kinda of mediocre, and the combat can be frustrating. However, I feel everything works together to create a pretty enjoyable experience, the combat is different, the setting is beautiful, it has plenty of things to do other than the main story. If you see it on sale or just have it laying around, this game is definitely worth a try.… Expand

    Beautiful map, really cool combat, thrilling story. This game is only 3.99 on steam sales, definitely pick it up, its very amazing.

    It is near-perfect in the open-world, city/crime genre. Even though it doesn't deliver anything necessarily new or unique, it differentiates itself from others in the genre by having a very distinct delivery.

    Comparing it to GTA V, which came out only 1 year after, it does lack in a lot of factors. It plays a lot more like a story-driven adventure game you can sometimes stop and play    It is near-perfect in the open-world, city/crime genre. Even though it doesn't deliver anything necessarily new or unique, it differentiates itself from others in the genre by having a very distinct delivery.

    Comparing it to GTA V, which came out only 1 year after, it does lack in a lot of factors. It plays a lot more like a story-driven adventure game you can sometimes stop and play around with, than a world full of possibilities you can explore and revel in.

    However, even though there is a lot less you can do and interact with, the city does speak out to me a lot more than other games in this category. It feels a whole lot more personal, maybe due to it's strong focus on the plot, and therefore it becomes a much more pleasant experience.    … Expand

    When I first bought it I had no idea what to expect, but it pleasantly surprised me. Driving, fighting and plot is very good. The idea o getting different skills depending on whenever you are good or crooked cop was fantastic.

    60% of the time is you driving from Point A to Point B and your only fast travel is a cab which sometimes might not even spawn near you.

Wait for an enemy to attack and press E or hide behind cover and shoot an endless horde of mindless gangsters( must have killed 80% of Hong Kong probably) Some of the side missions were okay but most of them had no charm because the characters and the world you were in had no charm.
    It say's open world but most of the map is empty and there is really nothing to do in it.
    The only good and interesting point of this game was the story which made our character face a cool dillemma but alas they also rushed the ending and botched it up.
    Will only recommend if you love driving cars without any point or have time to waste.    … Expand

    A bland and uninteresting game with only its setting making it remotely enjoyable. The gameplay is incredibly repetitive and uninspired, the characters are two-dimensional and very forgettable and the whole concept is just so bland nevermind the clunky driving. This game is just so painfully average it boggles my mind that this game has such good reception.

The fighting system is great with a lot of combos and types of punches. The storyline is deep and with a lot of good moments and twists. The atmosphere of the criminal and Hong-Kong is perfect.

    The game to me, entertains and excites me more than any modern title to date. Take note, im am atmoshperic player, that doesn't always require mechanics, difficulty, or endless things to do. This game is a balance between good and evil, it focuses on some of the worst,yet,atmoshpericly, it backdrops into zen, pure bliss,a choice of centerdness among the madness.

    Oyun Hong Kong'da geçiyor.
    Hong Kong çetelerinin içine sızmış bir köstebeği oynuyoruz.
    Hikayesi klişe gelse de gayet iyi anlatılmış seslendirmeleri,grafikleri,açık dünyası falan ben çok beğendim.
    Özellikle dövüş mekanikleri çok iyi ve seviye atladıkça sürekli yeni dövüş mekanikleri ekleniyor.
    Dövüş kısımlarındaki vuruş hissi çok iyi ancak silahlarda aynı şeyi söyleyemeyeceğim özellikle pompalıda.
    Araç sürüşüne gelince kontrolleri rahat ama bazı araçlar dışında hızlı giderken araca bakınca hız yaptığımı anlayamadım.
    Optimizasyonu ben o kadar kötü bulmadım ama sabit 60FPS almama rağmen oyunda sanki ufak takılmalar oluyordu ama emin değilim belki benim sistemim ile alakalıdır.
    Fiyatı 89TL bu fiyatı da hak eder ancak indirimlerde çok büyük bir indirim oluyor size kalmış beklemek istemezseniz bile bu fiyatı kesinlikle hak eder.
    Parkur mekanikleri bu tarz bir oyuna göre oldukça yeterli ama ben daha fazlasını bekliyordum açıkçası.

    Öncelikle daha önce de dediğüm gibi oyun GTA'ya bazı noktalarda çok benzemiş bu yüzden ister istemez GTA ile kıyaslıyorum mesela GTA'da bir göreve giderken istediğimiz yerden gidebiliyorduk dağdan gidiyorduk,ara sokaklardan gidiyorduk,denizden gidiyorduk,havadan gidiyorduk... bu oyun öyle değil ama tek bir rota var ve oradan gidiyorsun.

    Daha önce de yazdığım gibi bazı arabalarla hız yaparken o hızı hissetmiyorum ve ateşli silahlarda vuruş hissi o kadar da iyi değildi.

    Ana karakterimiz Wei Shen çok zampara bi tip bu kötü bir yan değil ama keşke herkesle tek gecelik değil de bir kişi ile ilişkisi devam etseydi ama dediğim gibi bu kötü bir yan değil.

    AWESOME GAME, AWESOME STORY, AWESOME DRIVING AND AWESOME FIGHTING. But the parkour are stranger, and some puzzles are frustating but thats dont affect the game.

    Reaching objectives takes ages and some missions which were completely irrelevant. The first half of the game isnt that good because it fails to build up the tension during it. It is only in the second half the game shows its true colour. I am disappointed to see that it doesnt quite have those stealth infiltration missions or those spying missions like in GTA except one mission.     8,4 Muy buen juego, buenos gráficos, gran ambientación, buena variedad de misiones, buena historia. Pero para mi GTA V es muy superior a este juego. He tenido varios bugs que he tenido que reiniciar la partida, el mapa es pequeño, la policía es un chiste.

    Finalmente eu consegui parar pra jogar este game e fui do começo ao fim. Certamente foi um dos games que eu mais perdi horas jogando e me divertindo. A cidade é uma das mais bonitas em mundo aberto dos games comparável as obras da Rockstar com Liberty City e Los Santos.

    Wei Shen é um policial infiltrado na tríade Sun-On-Yee e a história apesar de ser pequena, consegue prender o jogador com os desfechos que vai acontecendo ao longo da história. Talvez o único grande ponto de frustração em relação ao game seja a campanha principal por ser curta demais, mesmo com as missões secundárias. E ao longo do game eu esperava que Wei tivesse um upgrade e conseguisse levar mais de 2 armas, normalmente como vemos em jogos de mundo aberto como GTA, Saints Row, Watch_Dogs entre outros, mas é compreensível já que o game foca na luta corpo-a-corpo.

    A ambientação de Hong Kong é uma das melhores que eu já vi em games mundo aberto ao lado do Empire Bay do Mafia II que consegue trazer o jogador para as décadas de 40 e 50. Também senti falta de maior interação com as namoradas de Shen como acontece no GTA, mas nada que tire a diversão do game.

    O que me deixa contente é que a United Front Games na época conseguiu fazer o que Saints Row e Watch_Dogs não conseguiram, trazer uma jogabilidade diferente em um game mundo aberto como o modo de combate que por sinal é bem melhor que o de GTA que continua a mesma coisa desde o San Andreas. Pode ser que eu esteja sendo otimista demais, mas vejo Sleeping Dogs mais promissor que o Watch_Dogs (que está em evidência) para ser um rival direto de GTA... Apesar de Watch_Dogs 2 prometer novas funções, mas fico com um pé atrás com os games da Ubisoft (apesar de gostar muito dos games da empresa) porque o primeiro Watch_Dogs também prometia e o produto final não foi o que vimos na E3 de 2012, além do histórico currículo de downgrades em seus games!

    O jogo foi lançado em 2012 e espero que a United Front Games junto à Square Enix possa trazer uma sequência de Sleeping Dogs seja na pele de Wei Shen ou de um possível novo personagem, com uma cidade maior, mais interações e um multiplayer para que possa manter o jogo vivo como acontece com o GTA V através do GTA online. A Square Enix tem um game na mão que pode crescer tanto quanto GTA cresceu. Se souber aproveitar a temática que o game tem a oferecer, terá uma grande franquia nas mãos.

    Não li mais nada a respeito de uma possível sequência, uma pena. Espero que nos próximos anos, tenhamos um Sleeping Dogs 2 e que a Square Enix saiba que tem um game promissor de mundo aberto nas mãos, basta saber aproveitá-lo. E só pra complementar, passou da hora da Square colocar jogos como Tomb Raider e Just Cause na geladeira e olhar mais para outras franquias, pois uma sequência de Sleeping Sogs seria incrível. Infelizmente, a United Front Games encerrou os trabalhos em 2016, então nos resta depositar as fichas apenas na Square Enix.

    Et c'est une grosse partie de Sleeping Dogs hélas : impossible d'échapper à ces bagarres, que ce soit dans les missions principales ou secondaires. Toi vouloir écraser quelques loubards avec ton 4x4 ? non pas possible, monsieur ! toi vouloir les flinguer avec... un flingue peut-être ? non pas possible ! toi pas de flingue en dehors des missions prévues à cet effet... Toi péter gueule à eux. Jeu décider, toi obéir sinon toi finir camp de rééducation travail manuel.

    Dommage, car les rares fusillades sont bien faites avec des **** ralentis quand on passe d'un abri à un autre et le système de couverture remplit son office. Bien faites aussi les poursuites en bagnole avec également un ralenti quand on canarde le fuyard mais le souci est qu'on ne peut le faire que dans certaines missions scriptées à cet effet : en mode libre ou dans d'autres missions dans lesquelles on doit semer la police, on ne peut pas, car... de toute façon on a pas de flingue !

    Manque de liberté d'approche, c'est quand même ballot pour une copie de GTA ! ils ont cela dit innové quelque peu avec des sortes de mini-jeux de piratage de caméra ou de triangulation de téléphone portable... franchement c'est plus soûlant qu'autre chose.

    A côté de ça, on ne joue pas une racaille mais un flic infiltré avec tous les poncifs du genre mais c'est toujours ça de pris. Le jeu n'incite pas trop à mettre le bordel en ville et encourage la conduite propre (le score baisse quand on écrase une mémé au feu) : du politiquement correct communiste, ça (d)étonne un peu, on a pas l'habitude...

    La partie technique : magnifique sur PC avec les textures HD et presque tout à fond, ça tourne bien la majorité du temps sur une machine moyenne gamme avec de rares descentes à 35 im/s, clairement du beau travail pour un monde ouvert aux décors aussi soignés.

    Finalement Sleeping Dogs, ce n'est pas grinçant comme un GTA4 ou délirant comme les SR2 ou 3, c'est juste coincé et ça n'a pas la grâce des meilleurs polars de Hong-Kong, trois fois dommage !    … Expand

    Fun game and decent story albeit with many cliches, interesting chinese setting that we dont see too often. However open world gameplay is kind of a mixed bag, world itself is very restrictive where you can go, theres no verticality whats so ever, melee combat can get old fast and in itself is very basic with super easy mechanics, driving feels also stiff.

    one of the best open world games I've ever played. the gameplay is very fun. every mission is unique and good. the combat is really fluent and satisfying. they even have a whole island for just combat challenge and it was awsome. the only complain I have about this game is that when you're driving backwards, the camera angle just flies around.

    I really enjoyed Sleeping Dogs, its not every day we get games based in settings such as Hong Kong, with innovate gameplay and an interesting detective story. My only real negatives for the game are based on being rather hollow when it comes to things to do in the environment, also many of the missions get rather repetitive. but over then that I really enjoyed Sleeping Dogs.

    +Driving mechanics are well done and more smoother than other Open world games that came out recently
    +Visuals are amazing in both lighting and the depth of the environment
    +Fighting mechanics are well done and focused on combos, counters, and environment attacks giving you different ways to defeat enemies
    +Gun mechanics are well done and play like a decent TPS game.
    +Be able to buy food which gives you buffs such as increased damage, vitality, etc
    +Play as a Gang member or a Police officer to play different missions and to experience different Point of views on the storyline
    +Radio stations have a great variety of music choices
    +A lot of side quests in both the main storyline and DLC storylines - allows you to get money and other items
    +DLC allows you to get more vehicles, weapons, costumes and even power ups
    +Ability to replay missions
    +Two storyline DLCs Nightmare in North Point and Year of the Snake extend the game's length with about 20 missions total.

    Cons
    -Navigation system for cars may lead you in circles or to the wrong location
    -Some NPCs act crazy and ruin missions in the first few seconds (this is a bug more than likely - experienced this at least 8 times)
    -DLC storylines do not let you use DLC items, weapons, etc
    -No flying missions or vehicles
    -Some graphical glitches could be seen but very rarely.
    -Some NPCs do not interact with you at first try (mainly shops and vendors - more likely a bug)    … Expand

    GTA with style. This is how I would sum up Sleeping Dogs. I didn't care much for the story and characters in GTA, with all the stupidity and macho **** Of course you have part of that in Sleeping Dogs too, it IS about gangsters after all. Still there is a quite a bit of honor infused in the story instead of primitivity. Also, both story and characters seem deeper as a result of it.GTA with style.     Besides that, it also features better gameplay than GTA. Virtually all the minigames, the shoot outs AND the hand to hand combat feel great. Alright, the hand to hand combat isn't as good as in the Batman games and there is one minigame that is damn tedious and you have to do a lot (picking locks on MANY lockboxes lying around town) but other than that, it's all great. Graphics look a bit dated, yet it still requires a fairly powerful system to run smoothly maxed out, so it doesn't seem like they optimized it very well. And those minor gripes about gameplay and graphics are really everything that keeps me from giving this game a perfect score. Oh, it also has quite a bit to discover. Maybe not as much as GTA4 but if you are a completionist, my guess is that it'll take you 20-25 hours to get everything.

But I played through it twice already and am still listening to the Soundtrack on a regular basis, wondering about when a sequel will finally be released. And when I think back to the last couple of years and what great games I've played, aside from various indie games, only "Sleeping Dogs" comes to mind. It's a shame that the leaderboards are so screwed up, otherwise I'd probably compete with others every weekend but it doesn't change the fact that this strong urge of still wanting to play it means that it is essentially a perfect game.[/edit]    … Expand

    The Hong Kong aesthetic is certainly nice, and the whole undercover cop scenario does produce a degree of tension and internal conflict within the protagonist.     You know what else Sleeping Dogs does better at than most mainstream games as well? Being a good PC port. There are a plethora of customization options available and the performance is great (GTX770 2GB, max settings with high AA, averaging 90-100fps with a minimum of 60). Controls can sometimes be a little awkward with a keyboard and mouse, but it hardly impedes on the enjoyability of the game.

    Sleeping Dogs is a good game, full of atmosphere recreating the gritty feel and beauty of Hong Kong, coupled with a good balance between gunplay and a martial arts combat system, engrossing story line and interesting missions makes Sleeping Dogs a fun and addictive game let down, only content and length, if Sleeping Dogs was longer and had more content it would be excellent.

    Sleeping Dogs es un titulo que mezcla varios géneros. Mundo abierto estilo GTA, el sistema de pelea de Batman Arkham Asylum, el slowmo de Max Payne, etc.

    Para empezar el mundo abierto esta muy bien echo, con excepción de la falta de gente que tiene, esta muy bien recreado. Este juego hace a los coleccionables útiles. Si consigues suficientes puedes conseguir mas vida, mejoras en combate, dinero, ropa y vehículos únicos, etc. Y si hablamos del combate, es similar al de Batman Arkham Asylum, no esta tan fluido, pero aun así hace un buen trabajo, y tienes mas opciones que en el ya mencionado acilo. Conforme avances obtendrás mejoras, como hacer mas daño, nuevos movimientos, y como eh dicho antes, los coleccionables te sirven para conseguir nuevos ataques. Como romper brazos y piernas. El titulo también tiene una gran cantidad de minijuegos. La historia y atmósfera es como la de una buena película de acción de Jackie Chan, puede ser algo predecible pero no la daría por mala. Llegas a conocer una buena cantidad de personajes que muestran ser mas que matones eh inocentes justicieros. Y uno que me gusta en particular es Jackie, un amigo que conoces al inicio del juego. Al principio tiene una forma de pensar algo infantil, pero se va dando cuenta de lo horrible que es el mundo real y eso le destroza. No sera perfecto pero no esta mal. Al final, este es un buen titulo, me a gustado conseguir los logros, y se me olvido decir que también tiene parkour, pero seguro que ya es mucho que leer, le doy un 08/10. Es un gran juego que te hará pasar un buen rato.    … Expand

    I'm not giving this a ten solely on my opinion, this game is really that great. One of the most entertaining Action/Adventure games I have ever played, It was exciting from start to finish.

    This game has a great atmosphere,soundtrack,Characters, and customization.

    The map is very atmospheric and dynamic, which makes exploration fun.

    What I have ever been expecting from Watch dogs came out on nowhere from Sleeping Dogs Definitive edition. Graphics are well optimized and on Ultra looks amazing, Story is perfect and I was always looking forward to see what happends next. Fighting system of Kun-gfu - what a great amazing job.. shooting part also very entertaining.     Unlike the previous ‘True Crime’ games, where there was a strict depiction of the city maps, Sleeping Dogs does not portray Hong Kong, inch by inch. United Front Games has implemented GTA’s novelties in way that winks slyly at Rockstar. In essence, what the GTA series has accomplished, Sleeping Dogs has carried out better and more elegantly.
