Feb 27, 2019Отличный представитель класса роглайков, не имеет такого высокого порога входа как Isaac или Nuclear Throne, но всё ещё может подкидывать определенный челлендж. Если вам нравятся ККИ и/или роглайки: брать бесспорно.

Feb 7, 2019It can be really tough to "get it". It certainly helps to watch someone really good at the game play it, just to get a sense of the basic rhythms of the curve. But once you get your first win, it has a lot of replay value.
-
Apr 8, 2019I have spent countless hours playing this game.
The 3 decks (each of 75 cards plus a special set of Colorless card) make the game infinitely re-playable, by building on the several possible strategies for each character.
If you want a challenge, this game is one of the best hands down, you will quickly get addicted! -
May 27, 2019Best rogue likecardgame ever!!! You will play it over and over again and never get enough. Highly replay value because every time you start, its an complete different run.
My favorite game 2019!!! -
Aug 7, 2019Great little time killer to jump on and play 2-3hrs. Yes there is an element of luck and RNG but it's very entertaining and very well priced.
-
Nov 4, 2019Great game. Half of the negative reviews about how their ass burned while playing this game.

Feb 28, 2019While the graphics might be lacking, every other aspect of this game is perfection.
-
Apr 1, 2019Slay the spire is a lot of fun. If you liked rogue like games such as the 'Binding of Issac' and like card games/deck building games such as hearthstone, then you would most likely enjoy this.
Building you deck on the fly and getting combos is very satisfying.
It would be nice to see some more options for Heroes. -

Jun 12, 2019with the first couple of hours this game seems to be only somewhat interesting, but as you play more get more cards and find new enemies the game changes. the games difficulty scales with the time that you complete it and unlocks new handicaps for you since you're improving. but really good game me liky 10/10

Jan 26, 2019Great game. I didn't think I'd like it as much as I did. I wound up playing it for longer and longer and just began to love it. The art style is my only complaint. Otherwise, its just a really good draft game.
-
Feb 11, 2019Well, yes it's a decent deck builder, fun combat strategy, but variety of enemies is not high, luck is very present... and, basically, it's not a AAA title, so I hate to rate those on the same scale as a Witcher or Divinity: Original Sin. It's ok, you try the different desks, you have your favourite... and after a dozen plays and a couple of weeks, you forget about this little game.
-
Jan 25, 2019I played this game for over 100 hours during early access. It is a crowning achievement in gaming, merging deck builder mechanics with a rogue-like challenge. It takes a while to get used to things, but once you do, it's a lot of fun.

Aug 14, 2019What an amazing game. It seems very basic and simple but is anything but. You are always kept on your toes and there are many ways to victory. Great game for those who like card - and strategy games.
-
Sep 24, 2019Its a rather small and tight game, so you either like it or you dont.
This is a pure gameplay game it does not have a story it does not have great art and music, it just has a tiny amount of those three just enough to be playable while all the focus has been put on balancing the gameplay and replayability.
Think it payed off they managed to make the one thing the game have very good -

Sep 18, 2019Best card game i have played in a while. Only con : i really don't have enough hours in a day, and after playing this 20 hours in a week-end nothing else had been done in the house
-
Feb 23, 2019The game is great, and having 3 different characters helps to deal with 'repetition'. Each character has a unique deck, with many different ways to play. There are flaws in the game mind you, but the biggest flaw is also a strength - everything is random. This leads to a great deal of frustration, but also joy, as you learn what to expect each play through.
-
-
Jan 5, 2021Very fun roguelike deckbuilder. Perfect game to start up and when you got nothing else to do and wanna burn some time or just wanna play something laid back for a while. Almost all my friends that has this game has 100+ hours.
-
Jan 24, 2019Most fun i had in years!!!

I pop in daily to play the daily challenge -

Jan 2, 2021Great roguelike, offers a lot of interesting builds and its fun to make "broken" decks. Main problem is endgame. Once you learn the ins and outs of each class, end game becomes very boring and pointless.
-
Jan 23, 2019I've never liked rouge-like games, but I can't put down slay the spire. Fantastic game play combined with clever card design, makes it a perfect pick up and play game, but also hard to put away!
-
Jan 30, 2019The rogue-like elements destroy the deck building elements
I guess it's an ok game but the whole genre of deckbuilding games need a revolution. It's not it.
And the old and mighty RNG just kills the fun for me. -

Jan 26, 2019This is the most fun I've had in years. What a well-designed single player card game!
-
Jan 27, 2019Normally hate turn-based and all card games in general. However, I loved how this game starts simple as you build your deck. Keeps it from getting overwhelming, where similar games fail. Sometimes game brutally unfair though where it's not possible to win.
-
Feb 1, 2019I had never played a deck builder or even had interest in playing a deck builder until I tried Slay the Spire. 400 hours later, it's safe to say this is one of the best games of the past few years. If you don't see the replayability value, watch some streamers that have 1000+ hours. Each run is unique and requires and takes careful planning.
-
Feb 21, 2019A fantastic Deckbuilding game, the best one there is for PC this far, in fact
-
Feb 12, 2019It's a very good roguelite card game. Plenty to unlock and nothing ever feels the same.
My only issue is it supports controllers but it is super awkward playing with one. -
Feb 27, 2019Very addictive game. If you like deciding about your choices and carefully planning this game is for you.

Feb 25, 2019Luck and RNG game. Be lucky and the game beats itself. Try strategy and get punish for it.

Jun 28, 2020Лучший кки-рогалик 19 года. За день провёл в ней больше, чем думе и прочих ААААААА проектах за последние пол года.
-
Jan 2, 2021This roguelite deckbuilding game is so addictive it should be banned!
I absolutely loved everything about this game: from its awesome handdrawn art to its dopamine "just-one-more-turn" infested gameplay.
It also has an insane replay value! -

Jun 18, 2020Great balanced game with deep mechanics! As a matter of fact, 4 games in 1.
-
May 23, 2022i liked the game at first. but to much random and the further you get the more bullcrap enemies get. like, no matter what you do sometimes you just can't win. you put in all this effort just for it to not matter.

Feb 4, 2021Отличный рогалик со множеством персонажей, открывающих доступ к разным механикам.
-
Sep 30, 2021I dropped at least 200 hours into this, to level 20 all the characters. The challenge factor is super high and all the mix-and-match options with the cards and relics make each run unique. Plus, the community around it (Jorbs etc.) is super rich. This is the closest I've felt to the feel of Magic the Gathering in a single-player game.

Jul 14, 2022Pure deckbuilding roguelike experience. A reference point for any other games to be released in this genre. Gameplay > everything else, which makes total sense for a truly indie game.
-
Apr 13, 2022Best turn based tactical card game I've ever played. Very addictive. I like the variations in the characters. Each one plays very differently.
-

Apr 29, 2020Great game. 10/10. It is addicting to try to get the right combination of cards and draws with each character/climb. Even after defeating the boss with all 4 characters there is the daily climb with special modifications. I can't wait for a sequel.

Feb 26, 2020Addictive fun mix of rogue and deck building. But it's also a simple game and it gets boring after a few playthroughs
-
Jul 24, 2020I think that this is truly a unique game and I would recommend that if you are a fan of this type of genre then I think you should give this game a try.
-
Jul 16, 2020one of my favorite card games in recent memory, and super well integrated with rogue-like gameplay. insane amount of replay value, and even though luck is obviously a factor, it really does feel like skill is way more important in this game.
-
Sep 15, 2021I didn’t expect to like this game since it’s a roguelike and a deck-builder, seemed these two don’t fit together but I was completely wrong. This game is fantastic, it’s challenging and addictive. It’s the kind of game that makes you want to keep playing even when you die and lose everything.
-
Feb 7, 2022One of the most engaging turn-based games I’ve played in a long time. It really masters the balance between overall progression and minute-by-minute fun. It’s been a staple in my gaming diet for over a year.

Jan 25, 2020Sts is a very well-designed roguelike deckbuilding game. it's extremely addictive, once you started playing you cant quit.
-
Aug 29, 2021Slay the Spire is a turn-based strategy game that is very satisfying thanks to the gradual improvements made to the player's deck in each attempt. The developers have done a great job of balancing all aspects of the game mechanics. I think the difficulty level is perfect. It's challenging, but it's also very reasonable and accessible to new players.

Jul 20, 2023Pros.:
- Cool mechanics of this rogue-like. Normally, I do not like them.
- Nice variety of characters and tactics.
- Artifacts, potions, etc. Things stack.
- Aesthetics. Loved it more than Darkest Dungeon.
Cons.:
- No story. At. All... -
Jun 20, 2023The game is ok, but as someone else put it: "the rogue-like elements destroy the deck building elements"
-
Sep 11, 2023Slay the Spire's combination of deckbuilding and roguelike mechanics gives you the freedom to create your own builds and playstyle, while still making the progression of every run smooth.

Feb 11, 2020Nice artstyle with fluid gameplay. Easy to understand with high skill cap. I realy like starting fresh games with good progresion and going for ascention at lower levels. but once you get in ascention furthergame game starts to get hard and challenging. I esecially dislike not seeing rare and uncommon cards as often which makes it super repetitive.

Jan 29, 2020Great Game, its just fun. Only complain is that I expected more to happen after I defeated the game with all 3 characters. But the journey its intense, frustrating, exiting and just FUN!

Feb 1, 2020A marvel of game design. Probably the best deck builder there is and an amazing roguelike
-
May 23, 2020its great with good potential but its lacking some changes in every run it becomes pretty repetitive. Like even too much for rogue like.
-
Feb 2, 2020Amazing game with what feels like infinite replay value. Also surprisingly fun as a local co-op game!
-
Feb 12, 2020Very innovative game that does an amazing job at combining the Card Game category with Rouge Likes. Certainly an impressive job and one of the best 2019 releases on steam.
-
Mar 6, 2022I was instantly hooked on this game when I first started playing it. I'm a bit of boardgame geek, so I played the og, physical deckbuilders like Dominion before they were cool, so this hit a sweet spot for me. I don't play this much anymore, but I got a solid 60 or 70 hours of bigly enjoyment out of it.
-
Jul 1, 2021Nice game. Nice combination of roguelike and card game. Never played something similar. Its fun as hell. It took me like 90h to slay the spire so... Just 8 out of 10
-
Jun 21, 2020I don't think their is a more perfect game just by looking at it's idea and execution. I play this game as a modern Solitaire. It gives you that feeling "just one more".

May 31, 2022Slay the Spire is the very definition of a game that's simple to learn and difficult to master. The core mechanics and gameplay are so easy that anyone can pick it up and have a relatively fun time, but learning how to survive takes time and effort. No matter the level, it remains engaging throughout by making every choice meaningful, and victory is decided by your skill and just a dash of RNG. There are many clones out there, many of which are excellent on their own right, but the original Slay the Spire is still one of the most addictive deck-builders ever made.
-
CD-ActionDec 11, 2019Slay the Spire proves that tactical games can glue the player to the chair for long hours without depriving them of mental comfort. At this moment Mega Crit’s debut doesn’t seem to have any competition – neither in the card game genre, nor in the roguelike. [03/2019, p.68]
-
Apr 16, 2019Deck-building RPG + Roguelike, Slay the Spire is one of the most surprising, deep and engaging game you'll see this year. An absolute must play.
