    Close to perfect - it only lacks the generations part of The Sims 2 and the fact that in this game, the partners can't get married :-(

    Maxis should sue these guys. The game is a complete clone of the sims with nudity and sex. Can't wait for "Singles Unleasehed." Can you imagine the possibilities? If so the wash you mind with soap!

    I think its a great game. This thing about not blurring the bad things up is great. i hope lots of people like it too.

    Yes, this game is not bad as we can experience different parts of human life in a game that the loads of Sims expansions never covered them. Game engine is too realistic although it made my virtual memory overload many times. Lack of game objectives and lack of stuffs and avaible action decrease play time.

    I havent played this game yet, but i love the screenshots so far, not much of a sims rip off, more of an adult sims version, great for people with a taste for more adult activity in games.

    Check out the European reviews. This isn't a Sims game for grown ups. This is a slide show. Almost no interaction other than flirt flirt flirt sex rest rest rest flirt flirt sex...boring. I can't wait for Sims 2!

    The graphic engine is pretty good, although is buggy, sometimes it eats as much system memory as you need to save the ongoing game and restart the program. 7 out of 10 for the engine! Gamesave files as well as many game files are plain text: that allowed me to add different behaviours, to alter the characters, even the objects/apartment. This is really fantastic: 10 out of 10!     First, comparing this game to The First Sims really isn?t fair to either game. The focuses are very different and this game is built on technology much more advanced. Pros: Graphics are good, except a little buggy as one reviewer mentioned, but it probably give you a decent idea how TS2 will run on your system. The motives don't seem too hard to take care of and you can edit your text file to edit your game. Cons: Game play is pretty limited, you just have the two singles to play with and not a lot to do with them expect trying to get them in the sack, replay value will likely be pretty low. Not many objects either, I'm trying to get my flat mates to do group actives but there are only a few objects that they can use together. The way the relationships bars are broken down can be confusing too. With separate bars for friendship, sensuality, romance, fun, and trouble it can be hard to tell where you are in the relationship and the best way to improve. Not too many options but if you're just looking for a relationship sim it's pretty good, although I might end up taking them up on their 30 money back guarantee. Oh another complaint, pink mode and rainbow mode, forces you to use on of their two gay singles, instead of picking two singles from the pool, this kid sucks even more so since I don?t think their gay sims could get any more stereotypical. If we must compare it to the sims, I still prefer TS1 removing the blur is a snap as is getting nude skins, also with my sims autonomy on full I never had the super dumb sim problem. With Ts2 coming out this fall I expect it to be a much more complete game then Singles but at only 30 bucks with the guarantee I'm willing to give it a try. … Expand

    This game has nice graphics. That's about it. First of all, you have 4 or 5 characters of each sex you are limited to. Second, if you slip up in the tinniest way, the couple won't even speak to each other again. And lastly, "The Sims" for grown-ups? There is no nudity that I've seen. Not even a kiss, let alone sex. Grown-ups? Pleeeeeeease!

    Im a Big "The Sims " fan but wanted a grown up version, and singles offers that with the sex, and its good to play a grown-up game.I will always love "The Sims" but Maxis need a little competition and Singles gives them that.

    This sounds like pure filth to me. you should feel sufficiently dirty after playing a game like that.

    The main problem with the game is that it's not ambitious enough, relying on the sex angle to generate initial interest without supporting that with over the long term with compelling gameplay. Though it's interesting to manage a romance between two roommates, it lacks a sense of complication.
