I have played each and every Sherlock Holmes title there is, but this one is the most disappointing of them. It falls flat, unable to deliver any significant mystery or at least a funny mini game. The dialogues are so bland, and the characters are so boring, it's hard to believe. The worst part is the unbearable amount of references to more successful works and "easter eggs" - you can'tI have played each and every Sherlock Holmes title there is, but this one is the most disappointing of them. I did enjoy sightseeing though. Expand

A potentially interesting game ruined by a stupid off-center camera. Devs, put the character in the center of the screen.

Почему в трейлере, темнокожего унижает ничтожный белый, почему так? Это же не толерантно! Вы что?!!!! Офонарели что ли?

Lost my entire review but this game is not good. It's incredibly lazy in design, looks like a PS3 game, and doesn't benefit from an open world.

Disgusting game with a "bottle of beer" budget, 2006-level graphics, the gameplay is not addictive at all. The game is more like a mobile craft.

It’s a solid detective story, but gameplay-wise, Frogwares made a mistake by using its previous game, The Sinking City, as a basis for Sherlock Holmes.

If you are a fan of mystery, intrigue and adventure, you are going to have one hell of a time playing Sherlock Holmes Chapter One. With a beautiful setting, amazing character interactions and great puzzles, this is one of the best ‘’detective simulations’’ out there.

While Chapter One can be a little too cumbersome and lacking in logic at times, young Sherlock’s investigation into the many mysteries on Cordona Island provides more than ample breadth and depth for any armchair detective.
