May 22, 2015I haven't played the first part, yet I found this part to impress me. Wonderful thing, especially on the very first play-through. A definitely must-see game.

Jan 30, 2019I think it's a rather pleasant journey, I love the art style and the music always fits your adventures well. I would say it is an improvement over the first gameplay and controls-wise. Not for those looking for a meaty, 10+ hours worth of content game. There are many collectibles and achievements you can go back and try your hand at getting, though, if you're into that.

Aug 15, 2019At first, everything seemed monotonous and boring. But when I lost one of the kittens, it set my soul on fire. I was permeated with a sense of shame, and not a single game had yet evoked such emotions in me. I think it speaks volumes about the game. Shelter 2 is about an emotional attachment that cannot be described in words.

Aug 17, 2015Shelter 2 is pretty much a happening like the first game, but this time around, it is a mature work of art that has a clear idea at its core.

Pelit (Finland)May 13, 2015A game both lovely and flawed. Just as its predecessor, Shelter 2 is a moving, beautiful experience. It's also a bit too simple and short. The open world is a wonderful addition, but why is there so little to do in there? [Apr 2015]

May 12, 2015In some ways, Shelter 2 improves on its predecessor, but its brevity and lack of depth make it much weaker than the first overall.
