Feb 8, 2014Man you gotta try this game if you like adventure thinking games
has very awesome stages and different from each other i never though it would have this low score you will feel like an adventurer through historical stages fighting ...(the only thing is that the game actually has pretty the same monsters with different shape)
**** THE VISUALS I DON'T CARE ABOUT IT . -
WarmongerJan 15, 2005Not bad but not good either, this game could have been so much better! very nice graphics, but shoddy controls and lousy save system just drag it down.

DarrylAug 18, 2005Dreadfull voice acting, horrible story, meaningless & frustrating gameplay most of the time with key-hunt after key-hunt, a bad bad game. Nice music though, graphics above par.

Jun 8, 2014Really a superb game I loved it so much that I completed it in 1 day in my 5th try. It is the best horror and adventure game I have ever played. I would recommend it to everyone. I have an advice "if you use cheats you will not be able to finish this game and start from the respective level(eg: Scales of maat, fields of piece etc). I used cheats once and the rest of the time I never used

BenH.Oct 9, 2004Ive only played the demo and found it immensly fun. Will be buying it soon. Never listen to the critics they dried up old hasbeans who have never made a game and are just jealous.. thats why they always give bad reviews to good games.

JamesH.Oct 21, 2004This game is pretty cool. Very good graphics, great environments, huge details, nice music, excellent voiceover. The storyline may be not so convincing, also there could have been more weapons, but still the game is good and keeps you playing and playing. Why do they review it so badly? I have really no clue. Politics, I guess...

AlanOct 23, 2004Very nice game. You cant really say this is bad, I agree. Everything is smashing, graphics, puzzles, sound fx, music and even the voices that are usually a big laugh in mior games - the guy's voice is much better than Max Payne's. Really good for a small publisher and if it's not from a big one it doesnt mean its crap!

AdamM.Sep 30, 2004The above review is simply wrong. Great characters, magical spells, many surprises through-out the game! An excellent Horror adventure, which the gaming market does not deliver on much!

Shade: Wrath of Angels, is not a good game. It's not a game that I would recommend to anyone. I would recommend Blade of Darkness or even the lackluster Rune, both of which are years old, over Shade in an instant.

This game is so boring and annoying that I can’t force myself to play it anymore. Now I’m not going to say this is one of the worst games of the year (I think "Lords of the Realm III" deserves that honor), but as soon as this review is over I’m not going to play it anymore.

PC GamerIts generic plot and presentation are so bland, the game's few inventive features are very likely to be lost on most who play it. [Holiday 2004, p.94]
