Feb 15, 2023This game should have been right up my alley. But I hated it.. The combat is flimsy and has no impact. At the same time you can't even tell when you are taking damage until kill Screen. Lazy awkward game. Don't buy just cause you like Max payne or those vr games. This game aux.

Aug 22, 2022The acrobatic shoot-fest known as Severed Steel is, without any exaggeration, tons of fun. Sadly, while it could be one of the genre's classics, it is barebones in terms of content. There simply aren't many things to do here, and there's almost no incentive to go back to it. It needs a better campaign, more varied weaponry, enemies, as well as some extra stuff, be it power-ups, or alternative game modes. Or at least a better price-tag…

Jan 22, 2022With all its simplicity and a very short-lived campaign, Severed Steel offers a decent shooting practice for an evening or two.

CD-ActionJan 19, 2022Severed Steel left me conflicted. On the one hand, it’s a pity that a couple of truly brilliant ideas were implemented in a generally unpolished game. On the other hand, despite all its flaws it’s a fun, engaging shooter that kept me in front of the screen for hours. [12/2021, p.39]
