    Serious Sam 4 doesn't deviate from the other entries in the mainline series, and that's perfectly okay. The fourth installment looks and handles perfectly, though some players may succumb to the repetition before the campaign concludes. That said, it's still an absolute blast to play, and it should keep fans busy for quite some time.

    If you like the idea of running and gunning, feeling well and truly outnumbered but having a chance to defeat the odds then this could well be up your alley. If you require a bit more polish and seriousness (pun semi intended) in your game then this may be more down a dark path.

    Serious Sam 4 is fun to play – and an even bigger joy if you bring co-op into the mix. If you’re a fan of the series, then you’re going to feel right at home. If you’ve never played a Serious Sam game, then just don’t go into it expecting the same level of narrative as story-driven games, because you aren’t going to find it here.

    Serious Sam 4 could have been a total reinvention of the franchise, a step forward to revitalize a series that still has to take advantage of this new golden age of old school shooters. However, this is a wasted opportunity: the same game, but with the largest number of enemies to fight. If you're looking for the same Serious Sam, then this new installment may end up meeting your needs.

Играется очень бодро прохожу на Мастере. Сложность кочует от части к части, и как же приятно чувствовать облегчение после расправы над сотнями ублюдков за раз! Много новых противников, оригинальных и уникальных среди новых не много, но старые все тоже на месте, и в итоге получается шикарная гремучая смесь. Пушек валом, самое разнообразное вооружение + модули и прокачка на два ствола выводит стрельбу на новый уровень! Самая масштабная, технологичная часть в великой серии, от скромной Хорватской студии!… Expand

    I hate running backwards! Seriously, this is a huge improvement compared to the previous parts of the series.

    Unfortunately, it's lacks the awesome enemy corridors from previous iterations, which is what I was looking forward to the most, but it kindUnfortunately, it's lacks the awesome enemy corridors from previous iterations, which is what I was looking forward to the most, but it kind of makes up for it by creating even more enemy variety than before, and mixing it up nicely to make the battles slightly different each time. Still, I miss the days of standing at the end of a "hallway" and mowing down thousands of enemies all charging at you. That's not to say the battles aren't big, just not as big as I was hoping for. I assume they did this as a trade off for better graphics, which I'm not certain was a worthwhile trade.

    TLDR: Fun, particularly if you're a Sam Fan, but I'd recommend Serious Sam 3 over this.    … Expand

Once in a while you have to kill a big boss or use a mech and that's it, the rest is a stupid story (if anybody can call it a story) and endless waves of idiotic monsters.
