    Gameplay: Plays like Hotline Miami, but with no shooting, typical stealth and vision cone dodging. It's pretty basic.. to the point that i think it would have been way more suited as a mobile/tablet game. Having been destroyed getting through shadow tactics this is a highly casual experience in comparison.

    A polished, well-presented skin wrapped around thoroughly unremarkable stealth fundamentals. Serial Cleaner is not an actively antagonistic experience, just draining and unrewarding.

    Serial Cleaner has enough tricks up its sleeve to keep you engaged for about two thirds of the way – which is about two and a half hours in gameplay time. Afterwards, it becomes simply tedious: difficulty keeps rising while problems and solutions stay the same. [Issue#222, p.74]
