    Very steep learning curve
Tutorial teaches very little, you have to go through the manual at least once to learn all the basics
Need much micro-management for large battles, often you would find you units blocking your own units, out of move suddenly when you thought you have enough AP to perform a flank Worst thing about this game is forced pursuit. Great, you route a unit finally but

Worst thing about this game is forced pursuit.
Great, you route a unit finally but your own unit would pursuit it without asking you, the commander and thus open up its flank which is very stupid and hard to avoid.
AI is not bad, not too challenging or too stupid. You often find you are defeated by the game mechanics because it is too hard to understand.

An excellent turn-based strategy game taking place in from feudal Japan that will delight all field tacticians, who miss a more exotic battlefield and different warfare styles. [Issue#284]

Sengoku Jidai: Shadow of the Shogun continues from where Pike and Shot: Campaigns left off, introducing a rarely visited setting of feudal Japan, including battles in the Korean peninsula. The simple, but robust turn-based game mechanics, along with appealing visuals make the battlefield shine, but the thin campaign layer leaves a lot to desire. [Aug 2016]

An in-depth wargame featuring the titutar Sengoku Jidai, the Japanese invasion of Korea and some other interesting scenarios. Overall, a very good battle simulator.
