There is a comet appearing in the sky of platformers. It is called Schrödinger's Cat, delivering novel innovations to the genre. In such a game you do not solve the puzzles — you create them yourselves! A pity you will not finish this smash hit for it is too distracting.

Schrodinger’s Cat has a bizarre title, but rewarding gameplay. It’s a puzzle-platformer for people who don’t usually like the genre since the puzzles are all action-oriented. It will test your mental might, but also your dexterity with its controls.

Schrodinger’s Cat and the Raiders of the Lost Quark is a good puzzle platformer that manages to innovate and deliver a hilarious time. There are some issues, however, that weigh it down, from the slight platforming quirks, to the camera or some visual elements. Even so, if you're a fan, you can certainly have a great time with it.

In the end, Schrödinger's Cat and the Raiders of the Lost Quark is a good platforming puzzle game.

Schrodinger's Cat and the Raiders of the Last Quark uses clever game mechanics and thought-provoking humor to create a fun platformer with an unusual twist.

With a load of quirky characters, great comedy value (I seriously laughed my chops off at the awesome dialogues and amazing voice acting) and original game ideas, Schrödinger’s Cat and the Raiders of the Lost Quark could’ve been an easy 5-star entry, but I’m afraid the developers did not fully take advantage of all they could offer us, to the point of insulting my craving for challenge, instead giving me unwanted repetition for the sake of extending the game’s duration.

Even though the idea behind this project is unique and charming most of the things Schrodinger's Cat tries to do fall short.

Overall, Schrodinger’s Cat is a cute game with some unique and interesting mechanics. Not everyone will understand the humour, but you don’t have to in order to enjoy playing. There are frustrations and annoyances here and there, but the good outweighs the bad for the most part.

Gameplay mechanics are inventive and fresh, but the rest falls into the “retro game on a tight budget” category. [08/2015, p.61]

It's got some sophistication, but it can be silly too. [Issue#154, p.122]

Under the fur of Schrödinger’s Cat And The Raiders Of The Lost Quark there's and old game, flawed by an unresponsive control scheme. Like the '90s, “it smells like teen spirits”: but the scent goes away quickly.

Good ideas, frustrating result. While the concept is ambitious, the clumsy controls ruin the fun.

There is nothing even remotely decent about this game; wherever you look, you’re bound to find only glaring mistakes.

Game plays very slow in full HD and still pretty slow in lower resolutions, even though it's a simple 2D platformer.
Often, when the game is running at slow framerate, collisions are buggy and the character ends up stuck in a wall, leaving the player with no other option but to reset the whole level. Overall, it feels like a half-baked product. Too bad: the game mechanics were promising.

At first, the game mechanics look fresh but they result to be just a gimmick that tries so hard to have a twist on platformers. The levelAt first, the game mechanics look fresh but they result to be just a gimmick that tries so hard to have a twist on platformers. The level design is so lazy you will be seeing the same cookie-cutter platform sections over and over throughout the entire game. The characters are annoying and the humor it's just scientific puns. Lame ones. Full Review »

What a superb find of game this was!

An old style platformer revolving around the craziest and most imaginative storyline I've ever encountered in game. The graphics remind me of zany Nickelodeon cartoons, while the super cool voice overs and intriguing, almost unique, puzzle gameplay make for tremendous fun and variety.

The controls take a little getting used to, but once you've got the hang of the basic moves the game really picks up and delivers a challenging and extremely rewarding experience.
