"SAW 1.5" would fit this better, because it ties in some unsolved mysteries within the first and third film. You are able to discover what happens to Tapp, and those around him. Many of the traps are reintroduced from the films. The voice acting earns a solid average, it is not bad but it's not good either. SAW is about puzzles, and puzzles you will have! SAW is about puzzles, and puzzles you will have! In fact, there is close to no action and all solving. Puzzels from the interesting to the down right absurd. SAW's combat system is broken completly, but do not worry, it is easy to master! All-in-all SAW is a below average game for the regular gamer due to some bugs, controls and story. Die hard SAW fans (like myself) will be happy to know that it keeps true to it's theme and will not dissapoint. Expand

Saw fails to deliver the suspenseful crescendos, surprising twists, and apprehensive atmosphere of the films. Instead, it’s padded with unremarkable gore, poor pacing, and uninspired level design. [Issue#199, p.101]

Imaginative traps and terrifying Jigsaw make Saw: The Videogame surprisingly playable matter. If you liked the original movie you will enjoy the game equally.

Jigsaw's game are meant to be cruel, barbaric, horrific and pedantic, but this game is just plain tedious. [Jan 2010, p.79]
