A short, confusing, thematic and interesting game. Sometimes the puzzles are illogical but it's worth the small price. I'm looking forward to the sequel

I'm not that fond of Point & Click games, but this game gave me a different feeling, the objective already demarcated in the first minutes of the game along with the sound work really pulled me. Each puzzle together with that desire to complete everything make the game a delicious mix of morbidity and puzzle a great game. I loved.

A short but nice point'n click which more or less consists in a series of independent escape rooms.

What is particularly interesting in Rusty Lake Hotel is its atmosphere, quite dark and cynical at times. A couple of creepy details made a chill run down my spine, although the the graphical style and animations remain very basic. The difficulty of the puzzles is well calibrated, even

The difficulty of the puzzles is well calibrated, even though some can be a bit frustrating since you seem to be doing everything right but the situation stays stuck. Otherwise it was a very nice moment.

It is to be noted that many of the players, including me, could not unlock any achievement. I have not looked at it in more details, but it could be correlated to the recent giveaway.

Fun, if quite easy puzzles, in this one. The premise is straight forward, prepare find dinners by finding 15 ingredients, obtained by solving puzzles. Quite short. Worth checking out.

A magnificent and mysterious game created in the best traditions of David Lynch and the Twin Peaks series. 10/10

Rusty Lake Hotel is primarily puzzle/point and click type game. I'm not usually into this genre, but the surreal loop that happens within the game is both captivating and utterly disturbing. The tasty game-play loop enthralled my taste buds but shocked my mind. You must creatively provide the dinner service from/to the guests of the hotel. As the first commercial installment in on ongoing series, Rusty Lake Hotel comes with both story and gameplay reservations for newcomers, and only escape-the-room fans should bother checking it out.

Rusty Lake Hotel is an ultra short, but difficult puzzle game, in which you have to kill hotel guests in the most macabre ways. Every room is full of riddles that will eventually get you to the answer how to perfectly murder your guest. The simple point and click system is great and the puzzles are very well thought through: absurdly excellent!

Still, for the game’s low $1.99 price on Steam, it’s almost certainly worth a look if you’re tired of the same old thing and interested in a truly challenging, if a bit slow-starting, puzzler that requires real problem solving skills.
