    Ruined King is a fun romp through gorgeous environments with a team of likable misfits. Airship Syndicate doesn’t reinvent the wheel, but it didn’t need to — Ruined King still manages to serve as a great on-ramp to both League of Legends lore and RPGs in general.

This game has a slew of problems. Pacing, glitches, battle system, lack of an auto-save or even a mini-map or just a few of the issues. When it comes down to it the pacing feels way off and game feels like 60-40 / SUPER filler-meaningful content. The battle system also was a nice attempt but the COPY AND PASTED Battle Chasers battle system needs some works and a standard turn based system would have likely felt better. Also WHY THE HELL does the game start with TWO low damage tanks for the FIRST 2 HOURS. a super big turnoff to non-vets of the genre. The huge kudos which are a known staple are amazing voice acting, art and music/sound design.… Full Review »
