My own addiction to the gameplay here is unceasing, as there is always some little tweak I want to add to make my custom park just a little bit better.
-
Daily RadarThis expansion provides loads of new rides, themes and fun.
-
The best part about LL is that Corkscrew Follies is packed in as well; so if you haven't purchased the first expansion, you are getting both in this title...My only complaint is that you still cannot ride the creations you make. What a bummer!
-
The only real problem with Loopy Landscapes is that it doesn't add two much-needed elements to RollerCoaster Tycoon: a free-for-all mode in which you're not constrained by scenario objectives, and a means of controlling the game speed.
-
It's a great bargain, and full with enough hours of gameplay to make this a no-brainer purchase for anyone who's crafted the perfect park in "Roller Coaster Tycoon."
-
How can you not love a game where people clap for you when you successfully complete a scenario? Brilliant.
-
More scenarios, more themes, more shops, more fun.
-
PC GamerMore scenarios for fans of the breakout themepark sim. [Jan 2001, p.162]
-
It works hand in hand with previous titles in the series, drawing designers back with solid improvements and polished graphics.
-
If you haven't already played "Corkscrew Follies," there are definitely enough attractive new features and interesting scenarios in Loopy Landscapes to provide hours of additional coaster building enjoyment to your theme park empire.
-
CNET GamecenterThe colors are bright and attractive, and everything looks like it's supposed to, in a sunny, cartoonish way.
-
That said, I think Hasbro needs to be very cautious about returning to this well too often (Hello, Tomb Raider). While I liked this one, I don't think I'd receive RCT XP3 as kindly.
